I have also purchased the Thayer's Milky toner and really liked it. I normally use oil-based cleansers, like Beauty of Joseon ginseng oil cleanser (which I still do love), and Cosrx makes a snail mucin cleanser that I use for cleansing off makeup or sunscreen and it's very nice. But for my daily regular wash, particularly in the morning, I like a very gentle easy-to-wash-off cleanser that hydrates and soothes. This Thayer's has no perfumes/fragrances! Good for rosacea-prone skin. Hydrates and soothes very well. It didn't strip my skin, wasn't oily at all (though good oil-based cleansers do feel oily they don't stay oily), and felt wonderful as I cleansed my skin - also washed away very easily and quickly; I do about 14 or so splashes of water to be sure all is removed then use a washable reusable toner pad with toner to remove any lingering residue. It doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry. It is gentle. It doesn't lather up, which I like since I don't use lathering products or soaps on my face. No burning, itching, redness, or any irritation at all. I normally use K-Beauty but Thayer's is one brand I will use that's not in the K-Beauty products category. It really is a lovely cleanser.

Delivered today and tried this for the first time. I really like it. It doesn't foam and a little goes a long way. It removed my make-up easily and completely. Has very little to no scent. It rinsed off easily and cleanly, with no residue, stickiness or dryness. My face felt moisturized, clean, soft and smooth. I am putting this cleanser at the top of my list. I am pleased with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone, particularly those with mature, dry skin.

So far I’m a fan. Have been using my Pacifica for a while now and loved it then the price goes up and I realized I don’t like it that much! This stuff does great for my menopausal dry skin. More bang for the buck for sure!

I picked up the Thayers Milky Hydrating Face Cleanser with Snow Mushroom while it was on sale because I was looking for a non-drying face wash. Overall, I do like it. The texture is gentle and milky—it doesn’t foam up, feels non-irritating on my skin, and rinses off easily. I also paired it with the moisturizer from the same line (though I skipped the toner since I already use one my skin prefers). It does a good job cleansing without stripping my skin too harshly, which I appreciate since I tend to lean dry. That said, I do notice a slight dryness after washing and drying my face, which surprised me a bit given the “hydrating” claim. One other small downside is that the packaging was a bit difficult to open. Still, overall it’s a gentle, easy-to-use cleanser that feels calming on the skin and doesn’t cause irritation.

I bought this on a whim, having regularly used Thayers witch hazel. I have now re-purchased this mushroom face wash three times. It is wonderful for daily use, gentle and clensing. Once a week I will incorporate an exfoliating scrub, but I use this product daily with happy results.

This is the best milky cleanser on the market! I absolutely LOVE this cleanser and have purchased it many times. I have oily/combo skin, I also use Retin-a, and I find this cleanser so hydrating and gentle on my skin. It cleanses really well, removing all makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean and hydrated/plump. I have recommended this cleanser to all my friends, as it works wonderfully and is at a great price point. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.
