It sounds like he's going to break a tooth on them he chews so vigorously. But a recent check up at the vet showed her has great teeth for his age. He wears these down pretty quickly, bit he's so happy chewing I don't mind replacing them a few times a year.

Probably my fault for not reading the description properly but this is a tiny little stick. My dog loves it though :-)

Not the greatest toy. Durable however dogs got bored of it quickly. Smells like real wood though. Wasn’t for my dogs but probably would work for other dog breeds to enjoy.

So small no good for a big dog or frenchie, picture is so deceiving, total waste of money, ok for a a chihuahua, I think it's Absolutely disgusting wouldn't in a million years reccomend this.

We have a young large breed puppy who is still teething. They enjoy chewing on this, although still not as much as wooden furniture. It is a good size for larger dogs and is very durable

I have no interest from my pup with this dogwood chew. Maybe she will become interested as she matures?

My dog loves chewing wood and so this chew stick is perfect for him and much saver that getting wood splinters in his mouth. He doesn’t like other dog chews but loves this.

When I found my Maltese puppy (at 2lb) chewing a stick bigger than her, I thought it was adorable! Until I found out it was dangerous for her.I looked into alternatives because she loved the stick so much. I found these at my local pet store (the next two I bought here from Amazon). I bought the petite size for her, and she absolutely loves it! It is one of her favourite toys and she never gets tired of it. The petite is a perfect size for her, too. She can hold it between her paws, carry it up the stairs, and throw it around as she likes to do. I'm not worried about her accidentally swallowing it either.I do wish the durability is better on the stick though. She is now over a year old (4lb on the dot) and can really do damage on the stick. Her first stick lasted her about a year until she got halfway through it. I bought two more for her in May. I let her keep the old one, and gave her one of the new ones. Between May and July she destroyed the new stick. I can't tell the difference between the new one and the old one anymore. I am considering increasing the size of her next stick, but she still has the 3rd one to eat through before I buy a different size.The plus side, is that you can diffidently tell how much she loves these sticks!

I bought these for my aggressive chewing small breed Pups, 7kg and 9kgs. This toy is about the size of your finger, they enjoyed it but it easily gets pieces off and the surface is very wood like and rough, I think there is a chance it could get stick in their gum. It really resembles a piece of wood so if your Pups run outside with it, it's difficult to find! I actually can't find the 2 that a bought and my Dogs didn't play much at all with this toy.
