This dryer is EVERYTHING that it’s been hyped up to be! I did extensive research on dryers for my long, fine, fragile hair plus many compare and contrasts. I purchased the top 2, SRI Q and a well known and highly recommended dryer(not Dyson), and did a compare and contrast in a controlled environment, where I used the same styling products, etc. I did half my head with each one and the SRI was a clear winner. I was surprised that this lightweight dryer dried as quickly as the somewhat heavier, hotter, faster speed dryer! The other good surprise was that my hair was so much smoother and frizz free. Full disclosure… I was concerned because this was not one of the big name brands, but I will tell you that the way this dryer is packaged, speaks volumes about this small company. It was impressive! Obviously we cannot go by how impressively something is packaged as to its quality, however, in this case, the reviews were complimented by the care and quality of the packaging. It’s also important to note that all the reviews have given this dryer high marks in longevity as well. There are directions ( in a durable, well planned informative booklet) on how to clean out the filter once a month to keep the consistent durability. It’s quick and easy, and I prefer having control over keeping my dryer in tiptop shape. So if you’re in the market for a hairdryer that is extremely lightweight, extremely efficient, and over the top consideration about maintaining the health of your hair, then I highly suggest that you invest in this beautiful hairdryer! As an addendum, one of my attachments was not staying on well. I contacted customer service and Jin responded the same day and resolved the problem with a replacement; so I can now add customer service is also responsive and great!

I’ve only had this blow dryer for a week now but so far I’m very impressed. It is everything it claims to be, light weight, travel friendly due to its foldability and light weight, and it seems to be gentle on my hair. I am a “mature” 😉 woman with color treated hair who had used a very good professional blow dryer for years. I have recently noticed a lot of hair breakage and dullness. It was probably well past time to trade up. On the first use of the DryQ hair dryer it was apparent that it was far more gentle on my hair, regardless of the mode. I especially like the Care mode which cycles heat and cool air. No more overheating the hair! My hair dried much more quickly than previously thanks to the infrared technology and interestingly, I was able to achieve the volume and wave I had been struggling to get. As for the red light therapy, I have no way to evaluate the effectiveness but I am hoping that it, too, does what they claim and help regenerate and grow healthy, stronger hair. The Smart DryQ is not inexpensive but I’m betting it will show itself to be a great investment. If this dryer continues to work as it has so far I will be extremely happy and will recommend it to others!

I purchased the SRI Dry Q beginning of the year and it is amazing! Very quiet, lightweight, comfortable to hold and really like that it is foldable. I have taken it overseas and it worked great. The attachments are magnetic and easily changeable. A week ago, one of the nozzles fell off and the magnetic ring broke when it hit the floor. I emailed customer support asking if they sold replacement parts and a couple of hours later, I was surprised to receive an email so quickly from Mai. She was very helpful and after sending the information requested, picture of the broken part and copy of the order form from Amazon, she confirmed it was still in warranty and would be shipping me the new part at no cost. They sent me the tracking number the next day and I received the part yesterday. The whole interaction, from the first email and receiving the part was under 6 days! What great customer service and I am very satisfied with how quickly they responded and solved my issue. Thank you so much, Mai!

If you are buying this hair dryer for travel in Europe, don’t hesitate. It worked perfectly on the voltage and dried my hair quickly. It is very light and easy to use. Because I dried my hair quickly, I used an international thermal brush to shape my style. My hair looked good, and the style lasted through long days and windy conditions.

Having purchased many hair dryers in the past of great name brands, this hair dryer doesn’t compare. I’m so happy I made this purchase. It’s very lightweight, quiet, quickly drys my hair, and no frizz!

It killed me to spend this much money on a blow dryer but I bought a cheaper one with same features to compare and I was very surprised my hair was shiner , no frizz and looked healthier with the DryQ. You could feel the heat with the other one which cost 100.00 and hair was frizzy so I returned that one and kept the dryQ . Best money I've spend on my hair.

This hair dryer has it all. It's better than the top rated competitors because of its performance, weight, and variety of controls. I was astounded how it suited my needs such as not drying out my hair, the ease of using it and the foldability for easy storage and travel. It is a truly "smart" hairdryer, an advancement in haircare tools.

I had been waiting for my stylist to hook me up with a Paul Mitchell Neuro, but I couldn’t wait any longer because I had a couple of trips coming up so I began researching dryers. The Dry Q was mentioned in a couple of “top dryers” articles. I was interested in the red light therapy as I have thinning hair (dermatologist said female pattern baldness). I also wanted something lightweight and with a diffuser because I have naturally curly hair -trying to keep the frizz from overtaking as well. I’ve noticed that my curls are tighter and while I can’t get the same look as when my stylist does it, I have noticed that it’s not as frizzy as usual. I like the 140 low temp setting as my hair is dry. This dryer takes up half the space my old one did when packing and is so easy to use because it doesn’t weigh so much! I do think the cord is a bit long and takes up some space. Time will tell, but so far I’m very pleased with this purchase. For me, the money was worth it.

This hairdryer is far better than any other dryer I looked at and one previously ordered. It's quiet, small size, doesn't heat up and doesn't get too hot for your hair (less damage++).

I finally had a chance to use this amazing hair dryer. Its so quiet & lightweight. Comfortable to hold. The body is not made of plastic. it feels like metal. Very durable feel. All the attachments are magnetic, nice added feature. The settings works well with a memory of your last usage. So you can just plug & turn on. I like the fact the air intake cover is removable for cleaning. This company has thought of everything. Oh &, it folds for traveling, very cool! I absolutely love this product! A bit on the pricey side but well worth the money. This will last me for years.
