Anon's Logan WaveCel helmet pairs 3D cellular protection with an in-mold construction featuring a lightweight shell with an EPS and WaveCel liner designed in a sleek, low-profile style. WaveCel is a collapsible cellular structure that lines the inside of the helmet and can reduce impact and rotational force by flexing to reduce initial force, crumpling to lower impact velocity, and gliding to help redirect energy away from the head. Additional comfort and fit features include a 360° BOA® Fit System with a quick, micro-adjustable fit with the turn of a dial, and the Fidlock® magnetic helmet strap buckle allows for easy one-hand operation, even with gloves. Polartec® Power Grid® fleece liner and ear pads maintain quick-drying warmth for all-day comfort. Review: I bought Anon goggles in Feb 2022. This helmet was rated 2nd in most online professional reviews. I have a large body frame, which includes my head. I purchased the XL size. It fits comfortably, but looks like a beach ball on my shoulders. So do all the other helmets with MIPS type protection. One of the cons in the professional review was that the vents couldn’t be adjusted and heads got cold. Most of my days on the mtn were 03-25 deg. I wore this with the Anon MFI mask (doesn’t cover the top of your head) and a few days with my under armor cold gear full head mask. My head was never cold. I was too hot often. 8 days used and I’ll be looking to buy new interior padding as I sweat in it 4 of the 8 days. The bag for carrying is nice as one side is netting to allow it to dry and not stink. I carried my skis on my shoulder and hit the helmet many times. It doesn’t scratch easy. Can’t tell that I was hitting it with my skis. My biggest con with this helmet is the magnetic clasp. Might just be me, but even after my 8th day of wearing it, it took me 5-25 attempts to get it to latch. I was so frustrated with it one day that I practiced in the mirror. That did not help. It’s my head shape, but it did push my goggles down onto my nose and I had to adjust on lifts. Otherwise it fits the Anon M4 Toric goggles pretty good.
