Melissa & Doug Friendship Wooden Stamps | with Dual-Colour Ink Pads, Arts & Crafts Set for Kids | Age 4-6 - FSC Certified

My young daughter absolutely loves doing any form of arts and crafts- as a keen card maker myself she loves to borrow from my craft stash so I knew she would love to have some stamps of her own. These stamps are very well made and easy for her to handle- creating clear images. My daughter and I especially like the wide range and number of stamps included with this set- 3 princess characters- a castle, horse, wand, carriage, shoe and tiara. Allowing her to create some really pretty pictures. The ink pad has lasted well so far- despite rather a lot of use. We clean the stamps after use with a baby wipe- which we find removes any excess ink- we then allow the stamps to air. I think these stamps will last very well- especially if well looked after and stored in the supplied wooden box. It would have been nice if this had had a lid- to avoid the stamps falling out or becoming dusty- but this is a minor point and overall this is an excellent set- I was so impressed that I have gone on to buy several other Melissa and Doug stamp sets.

I think these sets are lovely. They are sturdy, come in a wooden box, so the children have got somewhere to tidy it back into and the added pencils are a great extension to the activity. I use mine as a teacher especially for story telling to spark their imagination and have had some great stories from the children. I have been so pleased with them that I have bought the dinosaur set and the transport set also and have used them as gifts for children aged 4-6. Great item well worth the money!

This is such a cute little set. I really liked how everything was laid out in the box, and it would make a great gift for a young child. However, that being said, it is quite difficult for younger children in particular to have the strength required to press down on these in order to get a clean image (unless we are doing something wrong!). Also, some of the stamps underneath have a very small split at the edges where they've been cut. Obviously fine at the moment but I hope that this won't affect the use of them over time so wanted to mention this. A lovely set though.

We are a massive fan of these stamps in our household. Good quality and I can't say I have had an day issues with the ink pad as some people have said they do. Nice size, perfect for small hands, yes the box doesn't have a lid to store easily but these are used nearly everyday so it's not a major issue for us. Would recommend buying additional ink pads to get range of colours These are perfect as birthday presents

A fantastic buy. A bit pricey, but worth the money. My kids had hours of fun with these stamps. When at restaurants, all I have to do is to give them some blank cards and paper and they are happy stamping away, designing their cards to give to friends. Lovely quality stamps. Very pleased that there are two colour pads as opposed to one. Would recommend for all ages.

I purchased this item for a forthcoming little girl's birthday, who loves horses! I'm sure she will love it as the box is excellent quality and there is certainly a nice range of stamps enclosed. It would have been nice if the stamp pad could have been larger, and could have maybe included a little horse note book or sketch pad for a child to stamp in to. It is certainly a high quality item and was delivered the very next day, excellent!

Opened and unfortunately the purple ink was dry and didn’t work…very disappointing.
