I've purchased a few different phone holder/docks recently and wasn't very happy with any of them. I came across this one that charges while the phone is docked which is better for me.Very simple to install and comes with everything, including the 12v cigarette socket and cable. I changed the cable for a longer braided one as the one in the box was slightly shorter. It holds to the windscreen and supports my Samsung Galaxy S7 well. Being able to rotate the bracket and extend the arm is a plus because you can position your phone for better viewing.I don't think the charge times are any quicker than the cable into a 240v outlet but it still charges my phone. The phone mount works on a gravity system where the weight of the phone brings the side arms in. I wasn't too keen on the idea but it has proven to be much better than I anticipated.UPDATE: 03/05/2018I've been using the dock on a daily basis and it's beginning to fail after 3 months of use. My phone keeps giving an error "wireless charging has been paused". I travel for approximately 50 minutes with the phone connected when I first set off, until I arrive. Within that time, the phone had only charged 2% and at a very slow rate. I now have to use just the USB cable to charge the phone while travelling.

Paid extra for early delivery. This morning I put it in the car, plugged it in...and nothing but the sound of straw blowing in the wind. Upon further inspection - the cable socket on the holder is faulty. If I play about with the angle of the cable I can get it to light up and charge. But if I did this in the car I’d have to steer with my knees and use a brick pulley system to work the pedals.Bravo Jaymax...a non hands-free, non charging car holder. (1 star for actually managing to hold the phone)

The Dock works fine, ie it does charge the phone but it is not suitable for an iPhone X, as soon as you go over a bump the phone will come lose and drop out. Returning mine.

Very flimsy and feels cheap. Doesn't hold a phone very securely at all and doesn't charge! Pretty much, does NOTHING of what it says on the tin!
