I haven’t used it on surgical scars like other users, but on injury scars. I have a child who is very active and tends to be face first into everything. Unfortunately, her skin scars very easily/brightly and these injuries usually happen in the summer when the sun is going to make them even worse. I truly think this tape made a significant difference in helping her scars fade faster than last summer’s! It has great adhesion, even with swimming and wasn’t irritating at all. It’s a nice thickness that probably helped block some of those UV rays as well (though I highly recommend a good mineral sunscreen and/or clothing for that).
