Review: I bought one of these to take to a local auto shop to have it programmed for my 2018 Ford F150. I knew the auto shop would have the tools to cut the mechanical key and program the remote. However, even though this shop's tools allowed it to cut the key, for some reaosn it could not program the key. At the shop owner's recommendation I took the new key to a different local retailer (a battery and light bulb store) to have the electronic progamming done. The owner of the first shop was kind enough to not charge me for his work, and the second shop charged about $100 to program the new key. In the end, the process succeeded, and the new key works 100% as expected.

I bought one of these to take to a local auto shop to have it programmed for my 2018 Ford F150. I knew the auto shop would have the tools to cut the mechanical key and program the remote.
