Waterman carene fine nib with item #(S0700860) shows price as $146 and the same pen with serial no. 11104W2 shows price as $239.Whats the difference?

Actually I don’t know correct reason behind this huge gap. But I guess the price setting depends upon seller’s urgency to sell the stuff. I always buy the product which is low price for same product. Does this include the converter for using bottled ink?

First of all I'd like to emphasize that I don't own this pen. I tried it in a pen shop some time ago.According to the shop assistant it comes with a converter, as it is expected on a pen in this price range.If it doesn't, you can be certain that it was forgotten when it left the production line and therefore you're either entitled to a full refund or ask the dealer to provide one free of charge, obviously.I hope that my answer satisfy your question.

Does it come with 8 cartridges? Also, is the box that it comes the same as what they have in Product description? i.e. with a sky blue Waterman logo?

It comes in a similar box. Inside will be same. Outside can be different. But they look good. I have not seen it come with 8 cartridges. Usually comes with one Cartridge and One Converter. I don't care for cartridges. The fun is in being able to use many different colored inks. So for me, converter is the way to go.
