I want to know what the material is, what kind of fiber they're made of. Is it possible to wash the gloves?

Material is 65% Recycled PET & 35% Nylon (trim around the top of the gloves). Gloves seem fine to wash as the material is very durable. I started buying them in 2013 and only need to replace them every couple of months due to overuse not product fault. Hope that helps.

Do these shrink a lot in the dryer?

I think it is best to hand wash them and hang to dry. Whether I hand wash or wash these in the washing machine (rarely do I wash them in the machine) I have never but them in the dryer.

What is recycled pet?

It’s basically recycled plastic. Sounds not so great I’m sure but apparently that’s how they get the exfoliating properties of the material. They still feel like nice gloves to me though, fairly thick and soft.

How long does a pair last and how do I dispose of them? Are they biodegradable?

At least one or more years. I use my old pair to scrub grout, etc. Not bio degradable.

Best shower gloves, hands down!

These are the only shower gloves I will use. They're softer than any others I've used, but still exfoliate. Most shower gloves feel like I'm using 60grit sandpaper, while these feel more like microbeads. Gentle but effective! They also last forever and wash up easily. I usually swish in the sink with a cpl tbs bleach or peroxide, rinse and hang to dry. They never smell bad or fall apart. Love Ecotools!
