Solid Product
I'm using BNC more and more with my portable ham radios. I've also put BNC's on my base radios at home. Turns out BNC's can handle several hundred watts if need be, but I never exceed 100 watts with mine. Makes switching radios out a simple affair. These connectors fit RG8X/LMR240 coax just fine. Takes me about two minutes to put one on and they come with heat shrink to make things tidy and provide some strain relief. I've used these pretty extensively and have yet to encounter a problem. Just make sure you have the right crimpers for theses and your golden!

Center pin can be crimped and stops with a little click
I like that the center pin can be crimped without solder and that it sort of clicked into place pushing into the connector housing. Solid crimp, passes the tug test.

Fits on DXE-8X cable
Fits great on DXE-8X cable. Crimp the pin with .68 dies and shield with .255 dies using the attached photo for measurements. Quality appears to be good and are easy to install. Hopefully they hold up.

stripping lengths ??
Fit and finish are excellent, I would have given this a 5* but there were no instructions as to the strip length for the cable.

Works great!
As with all home made RF connectors you still need to solder the center pin. Also be prepared to adjust the jacket and shield trims. But once they are the proper length and everything is crimped and heat shrunk it looks professional!
