Amazing!!
I have never used a colour remover before so I was very nervous. I had a live midnight jade colour on that I have dyed a few times but it was making my hair fall out. I used this and I couldn't believe how good it worked considering it was a blackish green. After I used it I let my hair rest for a few days and then used another one on the ends of my hair which lifted any remaining dark colour. And it says it doesn't work on metallic colours but the live dye was part of their metallic range. I now have a gorgeous new colour that I wouldn't have been able to have without this. And I haven't had to damage my hair further using bleach! I will be using this everytime I want to change my colour! Very happy customer!

Does nothing
How utterly disappointing, my natural colour is a mousey brown but I've always dyed it dark brown but the last time it was too dark and became black, I've used colour removers before so was fully prepared to end up with awful orange hair that they normally deliver, but would have happily settled for a dark brown, but I got nothing, my hair is the exact same colour as I stated with, I bought 2 bottles to ensure full coverage and followed instruction to the letter but nothing, nada, a complete waste of time and money, I now have the same black hair but it stinks and is in worse condition

Works on dyed black hair
I have used colour removers before, I hadn't tried this brand before I was a bit sceptical, some of the reviewers rate this highly & others said it didn't work on simple colours & I have been dying my hair black for a few years now. I mixed the two bottles together, applied to my hair, put a shower cap on waited 30minutes then rinsed for 5minutes, used the buffer shampoo waiting 2 minutes then rinsed another 5minutes, I then added a bit of conditioner & rinsed again. Totally shocked me my hair wasn't dried out! EVERY colour remover I used in the past really dried my poor hair out, I was not looking forward to this but it honestly didn't happened with this product. I didnt really notice much scent while using the product but when my hair dried I did get a whiff of the off egg smell so the next day I used my first protein conditioner & the smell went. So the big surprise is this removed my black dye & left me with a medium brown. I honestly don't even mind the colour, it has taken all the colour out of my 'whites' (ok greys!) but I can live with this for a week, I have bleach ready to lift the colour a little before trying my next new colour. I am overall impressed with this & will gladly use again when I get fed up of my future colour :) I have asked 4 hairdressers & they all told me to wait 7 - 10 days before using bleach or I run the risk of my hair breaking off so I am lucky that I don't mind the colour this lifted my hair to. Every other day I am using a protein conditioner my hair doesn't feel or look like it needs it I just want it in superb condition for when I use the bleach this weekend. The rinsing felt boring but I did it while in the shower & had hubby do the stopwatch for me so wasn't too bad just a little boring, worth it for the overall result this has done.

Please read full review for details but key point is, it works!!! What a relief!
So, I've decided to give a detailed review for this product in case anyone finds it helpful. If this is too long, my title sums it up.Firstly, this product comes in 3 bottles: 1. Activator 2. Remover 3. Finishing BufferAccording to the instructions, this product is suitable if you've used a darker permanent colourant and not suitable if you've bleached or lightened your hair, which makes sense. The instructions are that you mix bottles 1&2 and leave that to develop for 30 mins, taking special care to avoid any of it getting into your eyes. Then you run warm water over it for 5 mins, apply half of bottle 3, rinse for 5 mins, and reminder of bottle 3 for another 5 mins. Easy enough. What I've noticed:The combined 1&2 does have a strong chemical smell, and getting near the 15-20 mins mark (you have to leave it on for 30 mins) I started to get a stinking sensation on near my ears and the back of my neck. But not burning sensation. So I did that full 30 mins. When rinsing that off, I noticed the texture of my hair is different, so I'm worried it'll have dried out my hair. It didn't, I'll say more on that later. Also didn't notice any colourant in the water, or at least for the first minute or so. I closed my eyes for the rest of the time to avoid anything getting in it. I was looking out for that because another product I used a few years ago, B4, did literally washed the colour out. Again, I'll say more on that later.Bottle 3 smelled a bit better, you'll notice instantly, but that's the smell that will linger in your bathroom/shower long after. Also, none of the bottles are transparent, so when it says to use half first, I used about a third, only realising that when I poured out the rest for the final 5 mins to realise how much was still in it.So, going back to the worry about dried out hair. When I towel dried my hair after the whole thing, firstly, huge relief when I looked in the mirror! My hair is back, my hair colour and texture, still soft so I guess it didn't dry it out in the process. It worked and that's key, so 4 stars! And will be buying this again if I need to.Finally, a note before I wrap up this review. I used B4 a number of years ago. As mentioned above, when I rinsed using that, I could see the colour coming off in the water. But it was a long time ago, so don't know if B4 will still do that. And also not sure if it's got anything that do with the colourant to begin with. When I was deciding which colour remover to get, I did consider B4 again, because why risk it if you know something works for you? But didn't realise how many different types B4 have now, so it's a bit confusing. It's also more expensive and not available on prime (when I was shopping for it). So decided to go for this one after reading the reviews, and in turn, I hope this review can help some of you make that decision for yourself. This is only based on my experience this time. I know how frustrating it is to have a dye job go wrong. Hope this review helps!

It works as well as other highstreet colour removers.
Pro’s:•removes a lot of box dye•doesn’t smell particularly terrible•easy to follow standard instructions for at home stripper•generous amount in the bottleCon’s:•Still smells faintly of bottoms• doesn’t work as well as colour b4 max strength•quite abrasive•the box came damagedP.s I wouldn’t use it if your hair is damaged or if your previous hair dyes have contained henna or metallic salts. There’s a lady in the reviews with curly black hair that I believe might have previously used a metallic salts dye and her hair matted completely. I must admit, my hair is semi damaged as I’ve been dying it at home for lots and lots of years, and there was a moment during the lathering process where all my hair fused in to one gigantic hair helmet and I thought I’d have to shave it all off, but I teased it all out. So I suggest having a good silicone based conditioner to hand and a wide tooth comb. Also, give your hair a long time to rest before dying it again as I think the results will be unpredictable.

Actually not a bad product for once!
I don't typically do reviews but this actually worked for me. I've used numerous colour removers and my hair typically goes orange and dry... but this removed my colour really well and I didn't need to dye it after as it wasn't patchy! Quite impressed

AVOID Extremely Damaging To Even Healthy Hair. RE-OXIDISES DESPITE PROPER USE
USING THIS IS THE WORST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE R/E MY HAIR!!! AVOID AVOID AVOIDPrior to using this I had really strong thick long shiny healthy hair, no real colour build up, just touching up roots (no repeated pulling through to lengths) with L'Oréal excellence dye, was meant to develop brown but for some reason this time went black no overlap . I only used this type of remover as it is heavily marketed as being kinder than bleach. This is absolutely NOT the case, yes it doesn't use bleach or ammonia but instead other chemicals which are just as. If not more harmful!!RESULTS: after following instructions to the letter and rinsing for extra time (as the rinsing process is key) my hair was left BREAKING AND SNAPPING, exceptionally dry and frazzled. I have a very short bit on top of my head where this has happened. It feels like i have repeatedly bleached it. I was so devastated I cried. I cant pull my fingers through my hair, it just breaks. What's more is that the colour re-oxidised to a dark brown to a colour only 1-2 tones from where I began. Despite proper rinsing and buffering!! Ive read up on this and hairdressers have said this can happen and nobody really knows why, due to this unpredictability it is why they do not use in salons!! So all of this damage for no benefit whatsoever!Thank god for Redken restructuring products. Acid bonding/extreme lines highly recommended if you too are in this situation. If you haven't done it yet and can afford hairdresser or able to wait and save up to visit one I would 100% do this. I wish I had done, as salvaging my hair over the next year will cost just as much.

Works on semi not on dark permanent colour
So ill start by saying I have black boxed dyed hair and have dyed it black for years. I wanted to go more natural, which for me is brown. I also had a front red money peice that started to fade. I bought 2 boxes as I have long thick hair, followed the instructions to a tee wash time buffer time etc and it took the red semi out but the black didnt shift at all. Its still very black. Not even slightly lighter, I dont know if its because ive used box dye for years and its harder to get out or user error but I wouldnt buy again, I will however say if you have got semi on you want to get rid it worked on the red which was something.

Efficace !

Funktioniert gut -Haare danach unbedingt gut pflegen.

Does not worn
Followed directions and it did nothing to my hair other than leave a horrible smell that hasn’t come off after three washes. Do not recommend this and my hair color never came off as stated in packaging.
