You probably already know how awful mothball type products smell. Do you also know they are toxic to you and your family? I was happy to find this when I was looking for a way to protect blankets, sweaters, vintage heirloom fabric items etc. I had no idea when I was having a cedar closet installed that this existed. It is actually thin wood, maybe I’d describe it like poster board. Being a natural wood It can dry out. Low and behold Amazon sells natural cedar oil to refresh this liner as well as chests and closets, etc. you don’t get a lot on a roll, it’s not cheap, but I am hoping it protects my belongings as I have lined shelves and drawers with it. Having a moth problem is much more costly to get rid of and replace the items.

Doesn’t smell at all and I ordered for wardrobe bases. Only enough to do one wardrobe. Expensive so hope it does what it’s supposed to.

There is definitely a cedar scent. Lined all of our drawers after having a moth issue. This product is good but a bit of a challenge to work with. What I learned is that you need to flatten it out for a day or two first by placing heavy objects on it, then role it up in reverse to get it flat. It can be cut with scissors. I recommend wearing gloves as once cut the edges are sharp and got a few nicks in my hands. A light cedar scent has transferred in clothes. I wish there were different widths as our drawers are all more then 10 inches.

I really love the idea of this product: it is real aromatic cedar. However, it is super thin (litterally like onion skin) and when I opened it, there were a lot of very thin, narrow strips that had come off of the paper, leaving gaps. I saved them and tried to glue them back on with a thin layer of diluted wood glue, but you can still see where I reattached them. Nevertheless, I like the product, and it has a slight cedar smell. It would be a perfect 5 stars if they could figure out a way to keep it from drying/peeling while it is in its package!
