NOPE...Too chemically tasting for me
I guess POP-TARTS just don't taste the same anymore as like with so much of the food now a days. Sorry to say, I tried to eat these because I was so craving them lately and they were at such a great bargain. BUT...I donated all of the boxes, (except for the one I opened), to me they just had a really weird chemical taste to them and each time I ate one POP-TART I would feel yucky so I threw the ones away in the box I opened and donated all the rest, but then felt bad about that because what if those made someone else feel yucky too after eating one or more so I called the place I donated them to,to tell them to just throw them away but luckily they already did. Besides, the frosting had NO flavor, they just pretty much crumble no matter what, and the texture was overly DRY no matter how I prepared them. I bought all cinnamon so there was no variety of course. But yeah, too chemically tasting for me

Good product, some broken.
Good taste, freshness. Some of the pop tarts were broken which I can only assume has to do with the shipping.

Good Value for the Money, Often Very Crumbly
Pop-Tarts pretty much set the standard for toaster pastries when I was a kid. As an adult, I still find them helpful to have on hand when my eating habits result in a low nutrition span of time. (It is easy for me to forget to eat and I often have several days where I eat one meal unless I grab something easy and nutritionally loaded on the go.) Pros: The value pack size is worth it. They ship nicely because of their shape. And the Brown Sugar Cinnamon is one of my favorite flavors. Cons: The quality of Pop-Tarts seems to have gone down over time. These and the ones I can get locally seem to fall apart easier, and the frosting application is uneven most of the time, like the machine that applies it is in desperate need of calibration. (My local grocery store is in a "less desirable" area, so it is possible that these value packs and lower income areas receive things that score lower in quality assurance... it would make sense for a value pack, without generating waste trying to make sure everything is pretty.) This only matters because sometimes that means an uneven distribution - which is only bad when it is a bigger lump of frosting in one area. The crumbling is much more troublesome. Overall, they are fine. They provide a little extra nutrition boost in a 'sweet snack' package with good flavor, if not somewhat faulty form. I'll continue to get them now and then, and continue to use value packs to get the most value for my money. A solid 3 stars, probably a 3.5, but I don't want to go to a 4.
