Q: Where can i buy extra blocks

Unless things have changed in the last four years, I don't think you can. Here is part of my review from a few years ago: Now here is the major problem we had with our game: when we received it, there was one long rod missing. Without that piece, only three people can play, and we often have four people who want to play. When I went to the company's website, it took a little doing to find a customer service contact. When I did get an email address, it took several days for a response, and that was that they do not stock any spare parts. I should just take the game back to where I bought it for a refund/replacement. Not a very friendly response and very disappointing. Since Amazon didn't have any more sets for those of us reviewing it, we now have a game that only three can play. We are managing, but this has made me hesitant to buy any more Learning Resources products.

Q: Are blocks same size as pictures? I am an OT and would like to use this as a visual perceptual activity. Recreating the pattern to the side would be too difficult for many of my kids. If you match/lay the blocks on top of the pictures, are they the same size?

Yes, the blocks are the same size. You could lay the blocks directly on the cards to make the design. I'm a teacher as well and this is a great activity for OT!

Q: Can this game be played independently, or must you play with a partner?

It's supposed to be a race to see who can finish accurately first, but we have used it for independent play, too. :) They can be challenging puzzle cards.
