5L of Pro-Kleen Spa Clarifier - Achieve Brilliant, Sparkling Water - Improves Filter Performance & Efficiency

This product is amazing. It does exactly what it says, it drastically improved the water on a 20 min full jet cycle. I ran a second cycle and the water was crystal clear. Just be aware it will bring up alot of scum that may make you wish you had bought it years ago! Will certainly continue to use this and buy more in the future. You only need a small amount for excellent results so the bottle will last a long time.

A must-have for pool or spa. Has helped clear some very cloudy water on a few occasions and saved the day! Have been using this for years. A go-to product.

Economical as it goes a long way, used in conjunction with other products such as chlorine keeps my spa clean and running well.

This product works fantastically, a lot better than the previous brand of clarifier I was using and at the offer price of £15 for 5 litres it’s incredibly cheap. I added this to my pool and within an hour there was noticeable improvement. Within a few hours was looking great. Within 12 hours was looking outstanding. Anyone who is giving this bad reviews probably doesn’t understand pool chemistry or how this product is meant to work. It’s not a replacement for chlorine and proper water chemistry, infact with some types of filters you shouldn’t need this at all. I have a sand filter (with glass media). Generally it’s quite good but doesn’t catch the smallest of particles that end up building up in the pool and causing dull / cloudy water. With this it traps smaller particles and my water is crystal clear!

All pro-kleen products i’ve used work very well and the price is not expensive.

I have to say that out of all the spa clarifiers I have tried this one is truly the best. It seems to suck out all the sticky crud from the water and collect it together in clumps- stuff like make-up, body lotion etc, leaving it on the waterline for you to wipe out. In just an hour or so a green and/or cloudy hot tub is beautifully clear again. We use this product alongside Oxyshock, Spa Sparkle, Bromine Granules, ph plus and minus and Alkalinity. Thank you to Pro Kleen for this excellent product and for delivering for free to the Scottish Highlands. The 5l bottle lasts us a good year as only a tiny amount needed and our two hot tubs are in constant use all year round in our holiday lodges. Can’t recommend this stuff enough, briefly ran out and really missed it!

The packing doesn't give any guidance on dosing beyond "a couple of cupfuls for your spa" which isn't helpful if you've got a pool of any kind. On the manufacturer's website they've responded to questions with some guidance. They've stated 2 capfuls per 1000ltrs. Most spas are between 750ltrs and 1500 ltrs so that kind-of makes sense. However, they also state 2 capfuls is 50ml. I've measured 2 capfuls of the 5ltr pack with very accurate scales and it's more like 30ml so their advice isn't great. I landed on: 30ml per 1000 litres Example: for my 35,000 litre pool I'd need 30ml*35 = 1050ml (i.e. 1 litre). However, I rounded down to 700ml to be conservative and squeeze 7 doses from a 5 litre pack.
