My family has used Scotty’s Everyday for several years and it remains a permanent fixture in our pantry. While it makes excellent waffles, the true value of this mix is its versatility beyond breakfast. Super easy to use. We frequently use it to create a savory biscuit-bagel hybrid bread that is out of this world. The texture is consistently reliable and avoids the grainy, dry mouthfeel common in other mixes. The highlight for me is that its sugar-free and gluten-free!! Our favorite way to prepare this is by folding in shredded cheese and diced jalapeños for a savory kick. The base of the mix handles these heavy add-ins perfectly without collapsing or becoming too dense. It provides a legitimate bread-like experience that is difficult to find when sticking to low-carb or gluten-free diet. My only real complaint is the package size: I consistently wish they offered a larger, bulk-sized bag because we go through the current pouches so quickly. If you want a gluten-free, keto-friendly base that actually tastes like real food, this is the one to buy.

I really loved that this had no almond flour in it, that's hard to find with keto mixes. I break out really bad from almonds/almond butter/almond flour. Easy to make, had to add a bit more water. It came out pretty fluffy, and was tasty. However, not super flavorful like typical pancakes. I think it would be a great waffle. Next time I'm going to doctor it up with heavy cream instead of water, add some monk fruit sweetener. It's also pricey for such a small bag. But I understand for quality ingredients it's more expensive. I really love this for when I'm cravings pancakes/waffles with no almond flour. Just a few things I'll do differently next time to make it shine more.

I do not understand how this made it to market nor how anyone can eat these. The flavor is neutral, which I expected and even appreciated, however, they are beyond dry. I made the whole batch at once. The batter was a very thick and I ended up adding 2 more tablespoons of water. It created the most beautiful pancakes. The color, golden brown, thick and fluffy. I wanted to originally use the batter to coat hot dogs and then deep fry but I have disabling fatigue and it was just a dream. I went to eat a pancake and as I said, beyond dry. The batter was normal in thickness, so I'm guessing it's the modified starch, much like keto flours made from fiber, such as bamboo fiber, it's very drying. I actually want to try these one more time, but skip the water and add melted butter until I get the same batter thickness. I really want this to work. I never would lower myself to use a mix before but my disability causes things like this to make life easier. I plan on tearing them into pieces and putting them into an alfredo sauce as I already have that made and in the fridge, to see if that makes them usable. I do not want a refund. I am just reporting my experience as I appreciate it when others are honest about their review of products.

This is a Keto item wiKetp flavor. If you're looking for something that tastes like actual pancakes, then this is not your item. If you are looking for something that tastes like it's a keto equivalent, then this IS your item. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture of these pancakes. That's why I get it an overall of five stars. Not as good a real pancakes, but what diet food is ever as good as the real thing? None of them. So, when I find something that is close, I have to give it a shout out! This is one of those items!!!

Followed directions precisely the first batch and they turned out very dry and chalky. Seems there would be tips on how to prevent the dryness? Cooks up well, just not a good mouth feel or moist enough.
