They hold up to daily use and abuse by my two year old. The quality is far better than I expected, especially at this price point. I love the color scheme and details. They're so cute I don't mind if they're left scattered about the house. They fit perfectly in my daughter's hands and she thinks the sauces are hilarious to put on other foods too. They're durable and sturdy and would make an excellent gift. I wish my kitchen stuff was this cute.

This is a great toy, priced well and made well. My 4yr daughter absolutely loved it and played with it the most out of all her birthday gifts at her party. Makes a great gift and will purchase again next time we need a birthday gift!

This is great for four year olds and had everything you needed to use your imagination. The cake pieces are thick plastic and candles are rubber which makes it last.

This was a birthday gift for my 3 year old daughter who loves playing birthday. She absolutely loves this set. I'm very pleased with it as well. It is a very well-made, nice, sturdy set of toys. The candles are rubbery, everything else is hard plastic. It all has a quality feel to it. The crown works best when her hair is in a pony tail. If you're looking for a gift for a 3 year old girl, get this. ***Update*** I bought another one of these for my daughter's friend's birthday, and there has been a big change in the packaging, making it no longer ideal for gift giving. It used to come in a pretty big box with a plastic front, so you could see what's inside. Now the box is much smaller, and you can't see the contents. Disappointed. Picture is of new packaging.

I was preparing to buy a similar product from another seller, but the reviews on this birthday cake convinced me to give this one a try. I'm so glad that I did. The cake is so cute. It comes in sections with candles to attach. It fits nicely in its little serving plate. Then there are dessert plates, utensils, a server, and a princess crown as well. How much better can a little girl's birthday get?? I must admit that I opened it and played with it a bit, and I'm sold. Buy this product. How can you resist at such a reasonable price? The colors are vibrant and the pieces are very sturdy. I know my birthday princess is going to love it.

It is such good quality the candles are bendable so wont poke the kids. My 22 months baby celebrates everyones birthday at home and serves it to us.
