I’ve been coloring my roots now for the last few years. I’m a natural redhead and have no problem with the natural lightening of my hair due to age. However I have these two shocks of gray on either side of my crown area that I’m not ready to embrace. Think Bride of Frankenstein. I’m trying to grow my hair out and make it a little more healthy. I’m 55 years old so my hair damages a little more easily. I applied this to dry hair and combed through. Put on a disposable shower cap and waited the 25 minutes. I used my dishwashing gloves to apply. In the shower I rinsed, shampooed with my Biotin color safe shampoo and conditioned from root to tip. I always air dry my hair because it’s naturally wavy and I don’t have to do much to get the look I like. I use a heat protector because I get a lot of sun. The color did not rub off on my towel or my pillowcase when sleeping. I also wet it in the shower this morning as I usually do. No significant color loss or difference. And my hair feels like it has had a deep conditioning from the salon. I was using a color depositing conditioner from another brand but they discontinued it in my local drugstore and the price is always different on Amazon. Plus it a little drying. I’m so glad I gave this a try. I used honey blonde as my hair is a strawberry blonde color now and the blending was seamless. My roots look so natural for once. And when someone asks me if I color my hair I’m going to tell them I use this and I’m so happy with it.

I am super disappointed! I look so stupid lol. I should have read the reviews because this totally turned my hair this weird orange color. My loctician said going on it looked to be the right color, but as it started to process we both grew a little concerned bc it didn't appear to be turning my hair blonde. She said when she washed it out, it was this weird lime greenish/yellow mustard color and even tinted her gloves the same color. We looked at the bottle and none of the instructions were in english. Yes, my hair was bleached prior to, so it should have turned blonde and not this weird orange like color. I don't know what happened. I don't care, but I look dumb. My only saving grace, is that the weird color matches my personality so people will likely think it was done on purpose. I'll be wearing a hat until we can fix it in a few weeks.

I guess I didn't know what to expect from a temporary hair color, so I was somewhat disappointed in this. I guess I had higher expectations. The color was okay, it's a rather messy application. It's too bad there weren't more shades available. I may try again when the color I wanted gets back in stock.
