I have thyroid disease and major problems with Leaky Gut. Including multiple food sensitivities. If a food is high in calories, I probably have a sensitivity against it. I can’t gain weight because of this. I’ve been taking sovereign colostrum for about 6 weeks. I didn’t notice any benefits until after 3 weeks. This had made a bigger difference by far than anything else I’ve tried. And I also take bone broth everyday amongst other things. I’ve slowly been adding back in foods I couldn’t handle before. So happy I found sovereign colostrum, I believe this is the most powerful tool in the toolbox for Leaky gut. If you suffer from it, this is the best $80 a month you will spend. Important: Take it on an empty stomach. Plenty of water! Edit: I’ve been unable to wean myself off this product without a relapse in symptoms. I can’t understand why this product isn’t covered by health insurance. Update: I’ve discovered something else equally important for healing leaky gut, and it makes colostrum work better. Spore based probiotics or soil based probiotics, take it once a day! Warning DO NOT buy Codeage brand SBO probiotic, it is contaminated with heavy metal!! Instead try to find a 100% spore based probiotic. I’ve been experimenting with probiotics. Its worth mentioning Good Belly probiotic drink (gluten free one) is a good choice. Helpful to get rid of Bloating. Update: To prevent a leaky gut increase your stomach acid! Get Betaine HCL 650 mg with Pepsin. Take 2 or 3 at the beginning of every meal. Digest your food again. Prevent undigested food from causing a leaky gut Update: For probiotics I’ve found these strains to be the most helpful for healing Leaky Gut. I just ordered this brand of Colostrum today for the first time. I have been taking Symbiotics for about six months and have seen incredible improvement in memory issues, brain fog, fatigue, gut health, muscle fatigue and pain as well as improved immune health. The weather is changing here in Upstate NY and usually I am very sick by now. I am going to give this brand a try mostly because of the research and devotion the owner has put into his product and in educating the world about Colostrum. What also caught my attention is the conversation he had here with another reviewer where he explained that he spends the money to take all the unnecessary fat out of the product. I feel as though I have gained weight on the Symbiotics brand and I'm wondering if it's due to the fat content. I've read the reviews about how rude he is (and I did experience this as well). However, I contacted him on a Sunday via email and was shocked that he replied right away. It wasn't until I pressed him for more information that I felt he got slightly short...who can blame him if he's responding to emails on a Sunday! Anyway, I suspect this is a superior product than the Symbiotics (you get what you pay for, right?) and I appreciate Doug's ColostrumTherapy.com website very much. For now, I've given it 5 stars just because of all the information that he has freely shared. Will write again once I get and use the product. UPDATE: So I've reordered this for the 3rd time. It's definitely a great product. I just wish they would make it in a more economical size. I take this regularly and have not gotten sick although I've been around several people with nasty colds. My husband has started to get sick twice now and has taken this immediately and not come down with anything. I'm really not sure if it's better than the other brand I was ordering but I have noticed that I'm not gaining weight with this like I was with Symbiotics. Still think it's five stars!

Ok, so let me say first I have not been offered anything for this feedback because I have always wondered that myself when I look at reviews on Amazon. I will give feedback now as it as only been 9 days and then I will come back and update. I had taken a few medrol(prednilosone) packs for some tendon and shoulder issues I was having on and off for about 2 years. In that time, I probably took it 5 or 6 times and all the doctors said it was no big deal, even though I was worried. Turned out, it wreaked havoc on my digestive system. I also have really bad weakness in my extremities now as well as equilibrium issues, but that could be from the stomach issue not sure. A nutritionist told me that my body was probably not absorbing the nutrients and water I was drinking as he has seen that happen in people that have an organic diet as their bodies are too clean to handle it. I have been gluten free, dairy free, white processed sugar free and non gmo for years. Turned out all my blood tests were good, however, after doing an endoscopy ,my stomach is inflamed, but no bacteria or ulcer which is good news. I also have a light sprained ankle and tendonitis in my glutes and hip area so I am not feeling well at all and because of that was having trouble sleeping as well. So, I am on day 9 of taking colostrum LD and my stomach is much better. I am not getting the stomach aches, bloating or burning feeling that I was having about 1 week ago. I am taking 1 tablespoon in the morning and 1 tablespoon at bedtime. Turns out it has helped my insomnia as well because I have not been sleeping very well as opposed to sporadically. Also, the equilibrium is getting better and I believe this is because my stomach is getting better. I am just hoping that the weakness is coming from this stomach thing and that the colostrum LD will take care of that also. The company has been wonderful taking my calls with any questions or concerns. I had to stop all my wonderful supplements and stop eating protein as it was hard to digest and I was getting really weak after I eat and dizzy. Yesterday, I just started adding in protein and I seem to be ok. I am looking forward to how I am going to feel in 4 to 6 weeks which is the time they say it should take to heal . I am hoping it will take away the weakness and help heal my ankle also. I will keep everyone posted. If you are hesitating, don't. I believe this colostrum LD has a lot of healing properties and Yahweh will heal you from the earth. It's natural and healthy! I am feeling much better already when nothing else worked.

I think this is the BEST colostrum out of the several that I've used. I love that they send you their research and that the quality of the product is the highest priority. The packaging is simple, no frills and easy to recycle....looks like this company puts their money into research rather than fancy packaging which, we can all appreciate! I am using this everyday because I am healing leaky gut and an autoimmune disease but, I actually give it to my whole family just to boost their immunity and to be preventative about gut health. My kids are all involved in sports and I've actually noticed their performance improve and their muscle recovery time is essentially zero. They do some quick stretching and some roller massage after a hard practice in addition to taking this but, they really never have sore muscles since starting the colostrum. I love the fact that it is made USA and I am just super impressed with the education that the company provides and love that they put as much of that as possible on the packaging. It's all the important information about a product that I really want to know right there on the bag plus, I received a Vital Health News pamphlet tucked in with my shipment. Based on my research, Sovereign Laboratories is a great company with good ethics and a superior standard for quality and safety. I want to be able to trust what my family is putting in and on their body so, I wouldn't be purchasing from a company with any question of integrity. As a nutritionist, I also don't know anyone that this product wouldn't help! Even if you don't have an acute health issue then, you can still greatly benefit from cycling a bag of this colostrum into your supplement repertoire two or three times per year. If you have or have ever had leaky gut, autoimmune disease, cancer, or are a high performance athlete or are just want to be preventative about aging then, I suggest taking this all the time, except for in times of fast or detox.

I found out later that this is the same colostrum that my naturopath uses which made me smile - although she does not buy the liposomal version. I noticed a big difference in my immunity when I started using this and it built with consistent use and time. I find myself able to breath easier and sleep better and just over all feeling more healthy. I don't waste money on products when I can't feel as if they are doing anything for me and so this is certainly a product where I can feel the difference and would recomend. In fact I bought a lb of the same stuff right after going through this bag. I would also add that my wife recently started taking it and her back issues have improved. She's also seeing an acupuncterist and a chiropractor so I am sure that is helping as well. It reduces the amount of time it takes to heal and I have become more muscular. I love it. Also - as strange as this might sound if you haven't researched what is actually in colostrum - my libido has also improved. Yes - I am a real person - I realize how cliche this review sounds. I have taken Symbiotics brand colostrum off and on for 5 years now. I find that with the other supplements I take, that the expense made it prohibitive to take on a regular basis. I have had leaky gut issues from taking too many rounds of antibiotics as a child and have sought to repair my intestinal tract. Having an infected root canal that carried bacteria all through my body, I found that I had many more intestinal problems before I had the tooth extracted. One of the problems I developed (that I thought was part of the infection but wasn't!), was a severe mucous formation in my throat after I ate (this is a form of reflux). To say that this was annoying would be an understatement. I was annoyed but concerned about how to treat it as most people have to get an operation to stop the mechanism, but I felt that colostrum could provide healing and long-term relief from this issue. I researched this product before purchase and thought I'd give it a try. I have been taking this product for a little over a month and what I've found is that I'm much improved; probably about 60-70% better. I sometimes get some mucous but nothing like I did where I would clear my throat, hack, and cough after a meal and take 2 maximum-dose of Mucinex. I take this product twice a day and I have enough to last for at least 3-4 more months. So overall, this is a good buy for an excellent product. I hope that others that read this will give this brand a try. It is pricey but I feel it is a superior product. The results I had were slow in building. What has occurred is that I've simply gotten better slowly over time, and I expect a full recovery as my intestinal tract continues to heal. I am going to try my best to always have this around.

I'm so happy I took a chance and purchased this product. I'd never heard of this product before stumbling upon it. I still don't know exactly how, but I'm glad I did. I was mostly interested in the possible anti aging skin benefits. But I see now this product has so many other benefits I didn't know I needed. I love when a product surprises me and turns out to be much better than what I was ever expecting. After only taking this product for two weeks, the stuffy nose I had for about two months had completely cleared up. I suddenly realized I was no longer sounding congested and was breathing better. And the quality of sleep I get now is fantastic! I look forward to going to bed, getting a deep sleep, waking and feeling totally rested without the fogginess or drowsiness. I awake much more positive which positively affects my whole day. My attitude in general is greatly improved. I also have RA and the joint pain I had, even when I just touch my knee bone, is gone. I have a bounce in my step; I fully extend my knees now when I walk. And I wasn't expecting this product to improve my balance. But that's exactly what it did. I can now stand and balance my body by crossing my legs with most of the weight on one leg. I use to try this and would always wobble and couldn't stay in the position very long. Now that's no longer a problem. I truly love this product for the many benefits I now realize I don't want to do without. It's greatly improved the quality of my life in just a short period of time. I'd like to add that I love the taste. It taste like the rich powered milk I grew up drinking. This product also came with a very informative newsletter on the research of Colostrum-LD and its many health benefits. I will be repurchasing it and look forward to continued use to see what other ways it improves my overall health. I take it first thing in the morning and then at night. This appears to be helping my elderly cat, and it also helped my housemate to clear up a skin issue (eczema) almost completely overnight. For me, I noticed immediate skin benefits (clarity/plumping/firming) and stomach benefits (i.e. bowel regularity/ no bloating)---even some slimming effects in the stomach and back waist area for about two days. Sounds like a winner, right? All from only taking 1/8 of a teaspoon at night before bed with water. (I initially took it during the day and felt fatigued (maybe a little detox happening?) so switched to before bed. ) Along with the benefits I noticed immediately the day after the first dose, I also noticed a cramping/low back ache feeling along with sore, swollen breasts like I was about to have a menstrual cycle. At my age with irregular cycles leading up to menopause, this is a tell-tale sign for me there is a hormonal effect. Additionally, that wonderful slimming effect that initially occurred around my waist was short-lived. I began to gain weight all over---possibly bloat? This feeling continued and by day 5 or 6, I began a full-on menstrual cycle which I have not had in many months. Because I had read that this happened to another reviewer and hers went on and on, I decided to stop taking the colostrum so that hopefully the cycle would run its usual 5 day course and not go on and on like it did for her. That is what happened. I also noticed an uptick in hair loss during that week. I share this particular aspect of my experience so that other women (particularly middle-aged) can be aware of what might be happening if she experiences the same. (Maybe it is just my ignorance about this product though I searched online everywhere about the effects of colostrum, but I was not expecting this sort of thing to occur.) It might be possible for me to just take a pinch --not even the mere 1/8 teaspoon I was taking--because I did like the benefits I mentioned. BUT the hair loss, that was starting to get scary. I am dealing with hypothyroid (take low dose of armour thyroid) so am very attune to what my hair is doing as far as staying or going. I am not sure if I am prepared to attempt to navigate the continued hormonal effect this products seems to have on me without a doctor or multiple saliva hormone tests which are expensive since my insurance doesn't cover them. I really wanted to benefit from this product as so many others seem to have. Like the other reviewer who had a similar experience, besides using this for my cat and/ or sharing it with others who are not hormonally sensitive, this does wonders as a face/skin mask----just mix with water and make it watery to smooth onto skin. The sun damage on my left arm (from I suspect the sun coming through the car window during my long commute daily) will be the next area I try this on. Again, I want to be clear that I truly was only taking 1/8 of a teaspoon at night so that all may be aware that this is a potent product. It might be a good idea to start out below the recommended dosage and work your way up.

The Sovereign Colostrum LD is a very effective product. I have been using it to treat digestive issues and I have found it to relieve a lot of my issues. The quality and effectiveness of this product is highly recommended.

I'm taking it slowly with this as i felt some effect with my first dose. Dissolved instantly, tastes pleasant. I would say from my experience you get your money's worth with this product. updated: love this stuff. even at one tsp. per day in mornings, i no longer get indigestion; or acid stomach or diarhea. Will also attempt to use to use as a topical skin treatment for my skin issues.

I used this in my smoothies for an extra boost to my immunity. The powder mixed in well and has no taste or smell. Good quality product I would recommend.

This is the only thing that’s works for my stomach but I could barely afford it last year and with this crazy price increase I’ll never be able to afford it!
