Polymer Products LLC 1661-10521 Giant Christmas Bulb Six Globe String Light Set

I recently purchased two strings of 6 bulbs since the set of 12 was backordered. I was immediately impressed with the packaging and the extremely durable construction of this product. The globes are packed separately from the cord, which will be handy for storage. I had to order the lamps separately (Philips LED A19 bulbs have a wonderful soft light), but all I needed to do was screw them into the socket, screw the colored covers, then add a screw hook to the top (these were included in the package). I hung them with small hook screws. (Not included) Be forwarded that you can NOT plug one string into the end of the other, like traditional lights. But the heavy duty cord on this item has a wonderful springy feature built into the cord that allows you to stretch it, or collapse it, as needed to reach the plug. Inside the box is an order form for replacement covers of all colors, which is good to know.

These lights are a favorite for me. They’re bright and large enough to be seen from the street. They’re large enough that they definitely won’t get lost among the other decorations. Wires are thick and durable for outdoors.

The manufacturer needs to sell these on a mass scale!!!! They are so cool. My neighbors love them, grand kids love them. I LOVE them. Can't say enough good things about them. Much better quality than I expected. Bigger than I expected. Brighter than I expected. These are fun!

These are fantastic! Heavy, heavy duty cords and sockets, and the globes are thick. I used LED bulbs and they have a nice consistent glow. Well worth the money.

I have an older similar set of these that were sold individually and could be daisy chained. I only had enough to cover my porch and decided I wanted them to go completely across the front of the house. So I ordered 2 ea of both the 10 & 6 string lights. Glad I ordered enough because they are slightly smaller than the original ones. Not much but enough to bother someone like me.They came nicely packed but the box for the 6 sting set is much nicer and a heavier cardboard. Took them to the backyard for inspection and testing. All were in excellent shape. Installed lightbulbs (Philips LED Non-Dimmable A19 Frosted Light Bulb 8.5watt) and the covers. Plugged them into the same power source then waited for dark. Once it got dark I flipped the switch and wow those are bright while still retaining each “bulb’s” color. In the picture the lighter colored ones look more washed out than they are though. Of course they weren’t spaced out as much as they would be on the house so we will have to see how they looked then.When returning to the box for storage they can be repacked with the covers installed thus limiting take down and set up time.Next challenge will be hanging them. I can’t use the hooks as with the older set as these have a much heavier duty cord (which is good) and I think the weight wouldn’t work. I have a few ideas and options but won’t try them out until Thanksgiving week.All in all so far the only thing that prevents them from getting a full 5 is they can’t be daisy chained. I knew that in advance and can work with it. But fewer cords does make for a cleaner look

I absolutely love these! The bulbs are nice and big. They put so much thought into making them....they are excellent quality. I love that they use regular bulbs, and the cord is stretchy so you can arrange them easily.cords are nice and thick....I am expecting to use them for years. I can’t believe they are not in all major stores. I’m glad they are not.... I have the prettiest lights in my culdesac!!

Really did like these for their size & brightness. Looked really good, but you really need at least two sets in a tree to make it look good

This product is not at all what is pictured. We purchased these 4 years ago and they are bright beautiful primary colored bulbs but the ones we received are pastel and horribly colored. I triple checked the style # and they should be the same but aren’t. I called Polymer Products FOUR times but not once did I receive a phone call. So sad. Would nit recommend anyone purchase this product

I love these lights! The first picture shows them with 40w led bulbs and the second with 60w led bulbs. I prefer the 40w look. 25w mayshow even more colour rather than bright white glow. They are very heavy, sturdy and I am confident that they will last many years. I am unable to evaluate how well they hang from heights (eg gutters) as I am mobility impaired. There were hung with 16 inch S hooks. The lights are very translucent unlike the artist rendering. This gives them a very retro look as a contrast to the modern transparent bulb appearance. Maybe that is why some suggest they do not look like Christmas lights. I am old enough to disagree! Purchased two additional sets from Amazon warehouse deals advertised in very good condition although they were in absolutely perfect condition. These will be hung next year from my back chain link fence with S hooks. The coiled cord adds such a neat appearance. As others have stated, the purple is less bright. The only feature I miss is the ability to daisy chain two sets but I can work around that.

I was surprised to see such a well made set of lights. The cord is very heavy and the lights and covers also! I would buy these againI would recommend these lights!

Nous avons acheter 2 sets de 6 globes. Construction solide, finition impeccable, emballage très bien fait. Petite note, nous habitons dans une région froide et les câbles gèlent (-10 C et moins). Autrement super! Merci
