So you can only adjust the depth in increments of 1 mm. I guess this means you’re less likely to end up with different depths left and right so it’s easy to use. However I suppose there might be situations where you wnat to adjust more finelyI thought it was really easy to use - my only criticism was that the hole was slightly too wide for my screwfix hinges. They fit ok but there was a little bit of play which I guess over time might be problematic as all the strain is on the screws as opposed to using the cup to help secure the fixing.To get it perfect I would need to buy a different bit and hope the diameter fits the jig - which makes the whole thing quite expensiveBut apart from that the device gives you perfe t depth control and the hole is of course perfectly straight

I'm not a kitchen fitter or DIY'ing my own cabinets (yet) however I'm a Landlord we are replacing enough integrated washers and they often move the hinges which results in having to remount them this makes this task on site far easier.Cons- It's not the cheapest so it looses a mark for that- Loses another mark because theirs only 1 location for pilot holes which when checking didn't match most of the hinges. Not a total deal breaker but just means I need a sharp point or remember my hinge drill bit.Pros - No chipping or tear out from the bit- easy to alignWhen I had to re-drill 3 holes on a door (including one after the door was mounted, magnet required it one) this takes mins vs 30mins of double checking measures, holding the door while keeping the bit perpendicular.

Great product, really well made.Holes are a bit small for the pilot holes but suppose you could just drill through the plastic to make them to your size of choice.

Works well but the pilot hole guides for the hinge screws were not correctly sited, at least not for the hinges on the doors I was working on. May be a UK vs US standard incompatibility, but not a big problem as you can use the hinges themselves to mark where to drill the guide holes.

This jig has paid for itself over and over..well capable of drilling solid wood kitchen doors..and obviously even better on MDF doors..used at least 50 times and not showing any bluntness on the bit..came reall shap as well..well worth the money

Easy to use .

A good piece of kit, but can be found for a cheaper price at Rutlands. The line up holes for screws are also slightly out of precision. But this is not a show stopper. It would also be useful if clamps came with it.

Perfect tool for the job. Worth the extra little bit for doing a proper job.
