Black Antique Plated Medieval Viking Mask Helmet with Liner & Strap

Love it, it's great for display or to wear plenty of room to wear a skull cap if needed.

This helmet definitely feels sturdy. It has an inner lining that is adjustable. There are leather straps. They are actual leather. I haven't used them since when I tried the helmet on the fit was snug enough to stay put. The only problem with this helmet is there's a small amount of rust inside the visor, and along the edge. This is only visible upon inspection. As you can see in my pictures, it doesn't show in wearing or display. There's also a few very minor blemishes, but again only visible under inspection. I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a viking helmet for display, or wearing to things that realism is desired. This helmet is definitely worth the money. I'll probably end up getting the polished steel version by this seller for my daughter's shield display.

Good item for a REALLL good price. I have a big head and it fits perfect. Really a good piece for my Viking outfit to fairs. As you can see in the picture, my hair and beard grew out instantly when I put it on.

I bought this in hopes to cosplay for viking fest. It came oiled and fairly packaged but when the bubble wrap and plastic came off I noticed rusty spots and the fitting straps are poorly glued and coming off. I'll change my review if these issues gets fixed.

Beautiful, not too heavy to wear. A bit tight over the nose. Anyone with a larger than average nose may not be able to wear this comfortably

For the price I am very satisfied. It has a nice shape and looks really cool. Unlike other spectacle helms I've seen, this one actually looks pretty intimidating. It doesn't have that metallic look it has in the picture, it's more of a matte black. If that doesn't bother you I say buy the thing.

So I received this today and it was packaged really well. I was excited to try it on, tore open the package, and donned the helm. There were two very sharp pieces of metal on one of the rivets that penetrated my forehead and immediately caused me to bleed. After I cleaned my new wound, I had to use an angle-grinder to take them off the helm. That's the reason it loses a star. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase. I believe the seller coated the helm in some kind of light oil to help preserve the pain that was peeling but was easily wiped away. Helm is adjusted on the inside with a series of leather flaps and string you tie off. Under-chin strap secures nicely.

This was not “antiqued” in anyway. Was black primer sprayed on metal. Parts of the primer have chipped in shipping but not effected the integrity of the metal. Had to slightly shape the helmet as it was formed as a circle. Luckily I have an anvil to shape it to my head.
