It’s a mat. It goes under the bike. And somehow Peloton has convinced us this is an item that should cost real money. This one does exactly what I need it to do without requiring me to take out a small home-improvement loan. It’s lightweight but surprisingly durable, looks clean under the bike, and stays put once it settles in. Fair warning: when you first unroll it, it will spend a little time desperately trying to return to its former life as a tube. Give it a bit to flatten out and stop being dramatic. Once it does? Perfect. My floor is protected, my bike looks official, and I saved enough money over the Peloton-branded mat to buy something more useful. Like snacks. Or another piece of workout equipment I’ll feel guilty about not using. 10/10 rectangle.

I’m using this mat underneath my small WalkDate treadmill. I was using my yoga mat earlier but didn’t want to damage it further so I went looking for a “cheap” but thick enough mat for the job. This one checked off the requirements for me. The foam is supposed to be 6mm thick and I’m glad it is because I can’t imagine using a 4mm version underneath my treadmill! It’s quite light so anything thinner would curl way too easily, I think. I’m pretty sure my treadmill would crush it and leave a permanent imprint. The 6mm version left a temporary imprint but the foam did bounce back after a while. Anyway, I like that there was no offputting scent or chemical smells and this mat unrolled cleanly and flattened out pretty quickly, especially under the weight of my treadmill. It feels nice and soft stepping on it and it’s easy to wipe down. I got a size just big enough for my treadmill but would not hesitate to get a larger size for my weight bench now that I’ve seen it in person. Overall, a nice and reasonably thick mat for the price so I would say it’s a win for me. I’d give it a 5.0/5.0 - 07/02/2026.

Love it! Lightweight to move on wheels. Very sturdy and the size of it fits nice in any space . The seat has enough cushion that you could ride comfortably for hours and get a good workout in .Its great PT for my total knee replacement. And i get a good sweat in!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve been using this Cycleclub bike mat for a few weeks now with my indoor spin setup, and overall I’m impressed. The 6mm thickness is noticeably more durable and cushioned than the typical 4mm mats I’ve used before. It does a good job reducing vibration and noise, especially on hardwood floors, and offers solid protection underneath the bike. The 36” x 72” size is generous — easily fits my bike and leaves room for movement or adjustments without worrying about going off the edge. It also stays in place thanks to its non-slip texture and doesn’t bunch up like thinner mats tend to do. Cleanup is easy too — just a quick wipe and it’s good to go. There was a slight odor out of the box, which the product description mentioned. It faded within a few days, but it’s worth noting if you’re sensitive to smells. That’s the main reason I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, this is a well-made mat that delivers what it promises: durability, floor protection, and compatibility with a range of equipment. Great value! Thickness is excellent. Laid flat right away. Perfect size for treadmill, looks very nice, does not move or slip. Wish I had purchased years ago.

Perfect for under my peloton.

No complaints. Really for me it was a set and forget setup. I am not moving the mat around nor am I inspecting it closely. I use it to dampen the sound of the stationary exercise bike, protect the laminate floor from sweat, and protect the floor from scratches. I like the extra size of the mat. At first I thought it was a luxury but I have now come to appreciate the extra width it offers. That little bit of room on the side allows me to wipe off my sweat, take off my indoor exercise shoes without having to step off the mat.
