Larger than most alternatives, easy to use and clean and looks good. Not insulated. Be aware that cup numbers quoted are always for tiny cups.

This is very well made, solid. I opted for the stainless steel as the copper effect one will peel off.Hope it's good quality stainless steel but time will tell on that. Expecting rust, but hopefully not.If you look closely at the picture you'll notice a black plastic cowling that is fitted to the lid, this is an excellent idea as this sits the lid really securely when you're pressing the plunger, none of the wobbles as you plunge (we've all had those cafetieres haven't we).?The glass itself is thick and solid and made of the proper materials to withstand thermal shock, so no cracks expected.At £23.20 I feel quite happy, guys you can get the same for a tenner but the old adage still stands today, "buy cheap, buy twice".Oh and you also get a spare metal mesh filter and the base of the plunger simply unscrews to swap them over when they get a bit gunky.Spend that little extra guys.

Very good looking cafetiere. Keeps the coffee nice and hot for quite a while. Only difficulty is removing the glass jug from the metal frame. Makes cleaning a little tricky.

Lovely item. I do put the bottom part in the dishwasher and it’s been fine. Not the plunger though as the heat can distort the shape. I made this mistake with a previous one. Can fill two good size mugs. Very pleased with it.

Really lovely cafetière. Very well crafted and a good weight, not flimsy at all. Very easy to clean and the glass thickness is perfect which keeps my coffee hot till I am ready to pour it.

Nice looking cafetiere but bronze coating is really poor and comes off easily.After one clean, in fairly luke warm water, the coating has begun to peel in multiple places. We'll be left with the standard silver model soon enough.Works well enough but not good quality finish.

Having only had this cafetière for a couple of weeks it’s really disappointing to find the copper coating is peeling off and looks unsightly!Away from the appearance of the cafetière the function of it is really good though which is why I have given it 3 stars.I will be returning the item and buying a silver one.So if you’re looking for a copper coloured one don’t buy this!
