Not good.
Really good concept. But it’s impossible to stop water from leaking underneath. Good to divert main flow, but isn’t a waterproof barrier

Flutbeutel
Ich habe es leider noch nicht ausprobiert. Aber eine Alternative Lösung, denn so Hochwassersperren gehen in die 1000. von Euro.

This works for my use case
We needed a semi-permanent spring through summer solution to rainy years. Water runs down the hill from the neighborhood and if it rains hard enough the water runs up against our foundation and the basement leaks. This is due to previous owners adding too much fill to the lawn when they removed a swimming pool in the 90s. I figured how to stop the problem from happening by using Quick Dams that puff up on demand. But the price of those is too high compared to owning this reusable PVC tube. The material is nice enough. I was mostly concerned with how thin it was, but it's reinforced PVC kind of like the floor of a nice tent or a life raft. It's nicer than your kid's inflatable wading pool, so my worries were relieved when I took it out of the box. It comes with two black pieces which I assume are patches. The 'wings' it comes with I will not be using, but they're yellow and can be kept to use as patches. I'm sure rubber cement will work well to fix this if needed. Most of the negative reviews are people trying to stop a one-time event and then drain and remove the thing. I plan on inflating in April and leaving until July. I didn't have any problems filling it with my garden nose. Make sure the filler it pointed up and that it's at the highest level and you can get the whole thing to fill all the way. I got the yellow one because it won't get as hot in the sun hopefully, but now we have a giant 24 foot lawn banana. But it's a necessary evil to keep my house dry for the time being until I win the lottery and can call out heavy earth moving companies to swale and tile my back yard.

Great invention
Really amazing invention. The last thing you want to have to do when preparing for a potential flood is spending time sourcing and filling sand bags and then putting them in place. With these you just open the package and roll them out and they take care of themselves super easy to use. I have several friends that live or have businesses near the Ohio river bank and get floods periodically, these are going to come in handy to help them out with. Was amazed at how quick they absorb water and expand. The one I tested has not had a chance to dry out yet because it keeps getting wet, but hopefully eventually I can get it dry and rolled back up to re-use. Pretty good deal considering all the labor these are saving. They do get heavy once full, but are pretty durable to drag around if you have the strength, they seem to hold quite a bit of water. Great piece of mind to protect your property having these on hand.
