A: The track gauge is 20mm and not compatible with OO.

A: the locomotive is 17cm X 5cm....hope that helps.

**Q: Would be ok to leave in garde around fairy village?**
A: The track may survive outside, but in my view the rolling stock is definitely not weather resistant. Basically, it's an indoor toy.
