I have found this brand of ostomy rings and bags to work well overall compared to other brands as long as the area around the stoma is clean and dry. I alternate between using barrier rings and sticking the bags directly to the skin and the use is more about personal preference than anything else in my opinion. In general, I recommend these rings if you prefer to use rings because they are made of high quality material and stick well when properly applied. I also recommend that you heat the skin around the stoma and also heat the barrier ring and bag with a hair dryer before attaching because this helps the items stick better and makes sure the skin is dry.
