The AC adapter was a universal one that had multiple attachments for different countries. Of course the US adapter was missing (which is the one I required). The small brackets & screws were missing and there was wrappingremoved from the included remote. The actual HDMI switch was indeed a 2 port so all was good. Because I did not receive the US adapter attachment, fortunately I had an old 5 volt adapter that I was able to use. All this aside, the this switch worked flawlessly and of the 2 prior switches I purchased, this was the only one that worked without incident. All the others, powered or not, caused the attached monitors to consistently black out for a few seconds, at totally random times, sometimes every 10 to 20 seconds or so. Missing parts aside, I gave this 5 stars because the switch itself workedperfectly. I did order a replacement and received a new one 2 days later with new packaging and all parts included.I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AMAZING product *by N***N on November 14, 2024* Does exactly what's it meant to do with very high quality metal casing. I use this HDMI switch with a Sony A80L, connected to the second HDMI 4K/120Hz port. My Vizio 5.1.2 soundbar is on the HDMI 4 eARC port. A PS5 and Xbox Series X are plugged into the StarTech HDMI switch, which replaced my Blackbird HDMI switch. The StarTech offers noticeably better quality and performance—it’s more reliable and has been issue-free so far.I specifically bought the StarTech HDMI switch to fix an issue where my TV screen would go black for a few seconds when booting Gran Turismo 7 on PS5, likely due to a refresh rate change. This brief blackout also pauses all audio and controller input/output, which is frustrating.
