Lovely gilt cream. Easy to use.

Effective cost-effective product.
The gilt cream is easy to apply, I used a toothbrush as demonstrated on u-tube, and the finish is excellent.

Excellent product and easy to apply
I have never done any DIY work. After reading the reviews I ordered this product/ guilt cream on my antique console table and mirror frame which were chipped off. It also required a wood filler underneath the guilt cream. I had been given a quotation of £400 by a furniture restorer to repair it. I used a makeup brush and also applied it with my gloved finger tip. Really impressed and happy with the results. I bought 2 pots and still have two-thirds of a pot left over.

A purchase I now regret as almost everything I own is gold. Far too effective and goes a very long way! Fun and easy to use too. Maybe I need more shades?

Very versatile gilt cream
Used this to repair a gilt picture frame. But be careful if you do this to get the right colour although you can blend two or more different colours to get the shade you are looking for. Easy to use and dries quickly, then you can polish it to get a shine if you want.

Great product all the way from across the sea
I love this stuff, been using it for years in various colors. nice thing is that you can refresh the material if it gets hard. DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. I think I used Mineral spirits

Easy to use. Goes directly on raw wood.
It does have a shelf life, even unopened, although there is no date mark on jar. Hope you get a fresh jar and don't let it sit around too long after opening.
