I like to walk barefoot, inside and outside of the house. In the summer,the bottom of my feet can get almost "stained" and no shower scrubbing (even with a cheese shredder type exfoliator and a pumice on a stick sort of thingy) can get them quite clean, until I got this pumice stone. It's amazingly lightweight and rough yet gentle (at least on the bottom of my feet). Also I had assumed that no pumice stone would relieve me of the need to occassionally shave the dead skin off the back of my heels to keep fissures from forming. But I was wrong--I use this stone every time I shower to "wash" the bottom of my feet and scrub at the back of my heels and in just a few weeks the skin on my feet is less thick (as well as much cleaner looking--no more yellow/brown tint). It does leave kind of a rough texture behind but that's better for holding the moisturizer I rub in after the shower (or you could get a finer file for a second pass). And it does wear down (small flakes of the stone come off) as you use it, but the gravel just rinses down the drain and it doesn't look like it's gonna wear done enough to be unusable for a long long time. I don't often rave about such a simple product but this one was a winner!

When reading some of the other reviews, it would have me thinking that these were gonna fall apart in my first usage. 1 months later of using the same one twice a week to do my weekly soaks and it’s still going strong. These are great quality and even though I’m about to toss my first one it is not due to it falling apart. It’s just due to sanitary reasons. I clean them after every use as much as I can, but let’s face it. You can only clean up us so much. I bought these because I got tired of buying the premium ones that were about the same price as this entire package and them not feeling like they were getting properly clean, and I felt as if they were harboring so much bacteria germs because my feet started itching. I’ve experienced no itching from using this product and I found it a little bit easier to clean then some other premium brands. It is small so if your hands are large, it might be a little cumbersome, but my hands are small so they fit pretty easily comfortably. I think it’s an amazing bang for your book especially if you do pedicures or if you take your own promise to your pedicure appointments because let’s face it it’s really disgusting using a promise that has been used 100s of others and has their skin skills inside of it and now it’s going on your foot. As a diabetic, sanitation is important to me. Being hygienic is not just for show it’s for my health and these disposable foot scrubbing pumice pads allow me to have just that. Another thing is it’s just the perfect amount of grit with a medium grit for my feet.

I paid a lil more for these guys than I previously had for the pumice that I've bought at old Wally world and other stores..but it's sooo worth it!! They work soooo much better!!! It works just as well as that razor calus shaver offer thingy, but without having to use a blade (which usually ends up in me bleeding, cuz I always go too far)...I can't believe it works so well, cuz the store bought (light grey) ones never did what these black ones do..I used to use those light grey ones after I did the shaver thingy just to smooth out the rough edges (cuz they weren't any good to do more than light detail work), but this thing does it all, and takes less time, less pain, less blood... I was worried when I first opened the box and felt how light they are, I thought they might not work as well as those heavier/denser light grey ones, but I was wonderfully wrong...idk how it does it, it's so light and pourus, but it really does it..the first time I tried this one it had been a while since I did any of my predicure regiment, so my feet were in pretty bad shape (I get bad callouses on the sides of my big toes), but instead of using my razor shaver thingy first I just went straight to the shower and used this thing (btw, it says to rinse it out before using, which prob has something to do with the fact that it has a buncha loose black crumbs/powder falling from it before u rinse it- so b mindful when u take the plastic off, there will b a mess falling from it), so I scrubbed for a few minutes, and sure enough it scrubbed all those callouses completely down, just as if I had used the razor then the pumice like before (but without the going too low and bleeding part)....I am still amazed that it works as well as it does!!! I've used it a few times now, and it still looks basically new and works as new, so while it hasn't been long enough to attest to is longevity, I really don't see it having any issues there..but I can tell u that as soon as it is done for, cuz it can't last forever, I'm def getting more of these (it came with 2, I put one in each shower, so we can all use em)!! I will never go back to that crappy store version, and I won't b using that blade of doom any longer, as this is apparently all I need!!! This is def worth the higher price tag (and it isn't an outrageous price or anything, just higher), but for the quality it's tot worth it!!! And I have no idea if it's actual volcanic stone, but the fact that it works so amazingly well makes me think it must be... *Hopefully my review will help u in making a decision, ik that they usually r helpful for me, so hopefully I can help as well...

Great for at home foot care maintenance. Can be used in the shower or foot soak. Only downside the blue material sheds easily.

I've used this foot pumice stone for about three years because its highly effective at removing dead skin and making the sole of your feet sooth. Your skin feels instantly soft without being abrasive. I've gifted them to family members and its their go to for foot skin care. HIGHLY recommended.

Falls apart. Leaves particles behind

Highly recommend. Holding up very well and works very well. Much much better then the rectangular blue and white ones that crumble to dust after a few uses. Absolutly worth the money.

Maryton Foot Pumice Stone's have been the a great addition to my shower supplies. The fact that they come in a four pack for less than ten dollars makes these even better! I am glad to know that this product can also be used on the body for elbows and hands (as specified). Two levels of color coded coarseness (as specified) is most helpful. Whether you are maintaining between pedicures or practicing foot care at home, I personally love having these around!

My boyfriend and I used it for the rough skin on our heels and feet. He wanted natural pumice but this is just as good. It works best in the shower when your skin is hydrated. Just be aware that its quite sharp and dosen't interact well with loofah gloves. They get quite tangled.

Wow these are awesome and for such a great price! After soaking my feet for a bit in the shower, I used the blue side first then the yellow. My heels were smooth after I couldn’t believe it. They were so dry they scratched the sheets and dragged on the carpet, it’s been gross not getting pedicures during lockdown but these are great for diy.

Great price, package of two, and do the job they're supposed to. Not much else to say besides that!
