Revitalizing Air Dry Hair Cream for Anti Frizz Styling - 6 oz

I am growing out my hair, and it has been annoying. While I loved growing my hair out when I was younger, 53 year-old hair has its own agenda. I was having so much trouble styling it. Heat straightening tools are my go-tos and all I know how to use. But my hair was looking frizzy and dry - especially at the ends. I decided to embrace wavy hair and gave Sun Bum Air Dry a try because of the reviews and price point. I’m impressed. I think my waves look way better than the puffed straw look I was working with. The ends of my hair are looking frizzy much better. I enjoy the banana scent. The stiffness in the drying process takes getting used too, but it does not make my hair dry slower. I have coarse, thick, chin-length hair. I towel dry it well and use a quarter-size amount, give or take. I wash my hair in the evening and I still have nice waves when I wake up. I’m saving some time by not having to flat iron it everyday too. I am also using Matrix anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner as well. Update: I came back to say that I’ve been using this for several weeks now. and my hair is much healthier. The ends have improved quite a bit. I thought not using heat would help my hair, but I did not expect so much improvement. The Sun Bum cream has been a great find for me.,

Smells wonderful. Doesn’t eliminate frizz entirely. My hair will still dry a little frizzy sometimes which makes me want to go ahead and straighten it rather than air dry. It does work better than any other product like this that I have tried. Doesn’t seem to weigh my hair down quickly. Medium thick, fine, wavy hair.

Definitely don’t use too much! A little goes a long way. Made my hair look very greasy and I have extremely thick hair. Did not help with glossiness or even majorly with frizz.

Great product. I put this in my hair when it’s soaking wet, when my hair dries my curls are more defined and my hair is fuller. It also smells very good.

I have a wasteland of hair products under my bathroom sink. I buy them hoping for the miracles they promise then see the results they actually deliver. I hate throwing full bottles away so I try to keep using them but eventually, they all end up under the sink when in a fit of frustration, I decide to try something else. I have naturally curly hair and didn't know for years. I thought it was wavy/ frizzy. I thought I had to either straighten it and it would still find a way to frizz or I had to curl it and it would frizz anyway. I tried gel, mousse, oil, everything. I could never ever just air dry my hair. I looked like a troll when it dried naturally. Finally, I happened across this cream. I don't even know how it came up. It was cheap but I had never tried an air dry cream and thought, why not- it's cheap. It will never work but I bet it smells good. I tried it and I can toss everything under the sink away now. This is what my hair needed. I let it dry slightly, then put this throughout my hair. It does create a cast but that's what keeps my frizz away. After it's fully dry, I can scrunch the cast out with my hands and I have soft natural curls.

For reference, I have thick, dark, wavy hair - a bit coarse and very frizzy. I live in socal and the hard water destroys my hair. So, I had to change my hair routine. I use a hard water detox shampoo (loreal) once a week and follow up with a moisturizing shampoo (carols daughter vanilla) right after to complete the double wash, then use the carols daughter as needed the rest of the week. And followed by the wave babe conditioner after any wash. The last step is this air-dry cream, I have used every high-end oil, cream, serum, anything I could try from US, Japan and Europe. And this cream is by far the best finishing product that has worked for me. The ingredients in this work very well with the wave babe conditioner, and my hair has completely taken a new form, its glossy, hydrated, and doesn't have any residue. Its lightweight and doesn't weigh down my hair and lasts until the next wash. My hair is no longer a frizzy mess, the waves are soft, and my hair feels soft. With a busy schedule I can't style my hair every day, and with this I don't need to. It's saved me so much time and saved my hair from constant heat damage. This is a new staple in my routine. Worth the price.

Great product at a great price. Bought it to tide me over when my usual air dry cream was out of stock. Keeps my curls soft, defined and frizz-free all day. Subtle coconut fragrance not overpowering. Very impressed, highly recommend.
