I bought a cheap i3 laptop from HP several years ago. HP - Compaq HP 15-ac174na 4gb of ram slow hdd but the cheapest model with an i3 not a celeron. It was slow back then and even slower now. So I had a spare SSD so thought id upgrade when I had the back off I noticed that there was a spare ram slot and a single 4gb stick installed. Upon checking the Crucial website I saw it could support 16gb of ram. So I came to amazon to buy them as Crucial only did replacement 4gb sticks. I ordered 2x 8gb ram sticks and they arrived extremely well packaged. They slotted in easily and were recognised by the system straight away. So I now have a £150 laptop with approx £50 worth of parts in total making it a 16gb Ram laptop with 500gb SSD. Very happy. I also purchased an Disk Drive SSD caddy to utilise the old hard drive. So the laptop is also now dual drive. Very happy. Great quality Ram. Worked as expected and recognised by the system right away. I

The Timetec Hynix IC 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3L 1600MHz PC3-12800 Non ECC Unbuffered Non-ECC 1.35V CL11 2Rx8 Dual Rank 204 Pin SODIMM fits in my old Dell E6540 W7P laptop. It allows the machine to happily run 16GB of RAM at full speed without errors, and running cooler than the original 4GB + 4GB. There was a slight but noticeable speed increase going from the old Kingstons to the new Timetec despite both supposedly being the same speed rating, and a reduction in hard-disk use of the SSD for overflow-memory swapping, mainly when working on video files. A comprehensive RAM test by the BIOS took ages, but showed no faults, and the two SODIMM were the coolest components in the laptop. A useful point is that these DDR3-L 8GB RAMs are LOW density DUAL RANK, with 16 chips on the SODIMM card. This guarantees operation even on slightly older motherboards. As with all ESD sensitive components, take care not to touch the contacts on the card and make sure oneself is earthed to the metalwork of the unplugged equipment, and with a laptop also always remove the battery before taking off the cover. It is always well worth giving the insides of any old computer a careful, gentle vacuum!

I was debating the purchase of a new laptop as my 10 year old HP Envy DV6 Notebook used for CAD and image processing was painfully slow. When I came across this upgrade for a fraction of the price of a new laptop I thought it would be worth the shot. The computer has got a new lease of life and is now running my programmes and multiple windows without fault. It is very important to check this product is compatible with your laptop prior to use. I suggest inspecting what your current RAM type is prior to purchasing.

Does what it's supposed to! Arrived next day (via Prime) and was very easy to install. I noticed a good difference in speed, in terms of opening multiple pages on my browser. Needed it for my work laptop which is quite old already, and it was excruciatingly slow before with the 8gb ram preinstalled on there. The memory hasn't shown any faults and my laptop was able to detect the new RAM straight away. This is the cheapest price I could find from any online store at £56 for a DDR3L, which is quite a specific RAM for older generation Intel laptops. Well recommended if you need to extend a little more life into a very old laptop without the need of purchasing a new one.

Bonjour à tou(te)s, Article de présentation très soignée, très bien protégé et emballé, et livré très rapidement. Article ( Kit 2x8Go so-dimm ddr3 ) acheté pour remplacer en totalité l'étique Ram de 6 Go équipant d'origine sur 2 slots mon portable Asus K756U âgé de 7 à 8 ans, et qui ramait énormément depuis le passage à WIN 10. Mon logiciel de contrôle du matériel installé m'indiquait une capacité maxi possible de 16 Go de RAM sur la carte mère, et l'existence de 2 slots mémoire partiellement occupés ( 4 et 2 Go ), malheureusement sans toutefois pouvoir m'indiquer la capacité maxi (inconnue) de chacun des 2 slots. J'ai fait le pari, peu onéreux en cas d'échec compte tenu du prix très raisonnable du Kit, de pouvoir installer 8Go sur chacun des 2 slots, mon ange gardien m'assurant avec insistance qu'il y avait de fortes chances pour qu'ils soient tous deux de même capacité maxi. Logique, mais pas certain en époque de réduction drastique des coûts .. Pari gagné !. L'installation des deux barrettes s'est faite en 10 minutes, et la mémoire de 16 Go a été immédiatement reconnue et fonctionnelle. Le PC s'est montré immédiatement très soulagé dans le gestionnaire des tâches. Ayant en outre ensuite rageusement désactivé (vieux projet !) le service hypocrite de "télémétrie" de Microsoft, le PC démarre maintenant en 2 à 4 minutes, au lieu des 20 habituelles ( et même 90 ! en cas d'update simultané de windows ) et le HDD ne reste parfois à 100% d'activité qu'environ une minute maxi. Un vrai petit miracle .. Je suis absolument ravi de mon achat, et recommande chaleureusement et cet article de qualité, et son vendeur pour son sérieux ..

Ho acquistato questo kit di memoria RAM Timetec (2x8GB) per resuscitare un vecchio notebook che stava ormai boccheggiando con i suoi soli 4GB di RAM. L'obiettivo era massimizzare la memoria e ottenere il miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo possibile, e questo prodotto ha superato le mie aspettative, offrendo un'ottima stabilità e una notevole iniezione di velocità. È fondamentale specificare il mio caso d'uso: il mio portatile, pur essendo compatibile con lo standard DDR3L, può operare solo alla frequenza di 1333 MHz (PC3-10600), inferiore alla velocità massima di queste memorie (1600 MHz). Nonostante il downclocking automatico dovuto ai limiti del mio hardware, il kit ha funzionato perfettamente fin dal primo avvio, sfruttando la massima frequenza consentita dal sistema. Il guadagno in termini di fluidità, multitasking e tempi di caricamento è stato sbalorditivo. Aspetti Positivi dell'Upgrade: ✅ Compatibilità Estesa (Dual Voltage): Il supporto per la doppia tensione (1.35V DDR3L e 1.5V DDR3) assicura una compatibilità quasi universale con i vecchi laptop e Mac che utilizzano questo standard. Facile à monter une fois évidemment le pc portable démonté. Aucune configuration à faire, Windows reconnaît la memoire. De 4 je passe à 16 plus que 20 % utilisé au lieu de 98 %...
