Anyone bought these recently and can say whether they are genuine ones?

No they aren’t genuine!!! They are made in Taiwan,

Would these be suitable for a toy poodle?

Hi I would definitely recommend these clippers. I had used or I should say tried the gulitine type before I did not feel comfortable at all they were very hard to use and to see how much of the claw was being removed.so I gave up. But can I just say millers forge clippers were so easy to use. It took no time at all to remove the extra claw length and the guard stops u from removing to much. Very comfortable in ur hands I would give these 10/10

Any good for deerhounds

If you buy these clippers when they arrive you will think that they are no good however, you would be wrong. I bought them for my two German Shepherds & when they arrived I thought I had been sent the wrong thing but, I tried them & I could not be more pleased with them. They are excellent & they will be excellent for your deerhounds.

Hi the clippers themselves are not 20cm in length as described in the product details, are they? I want them smaller so they fit nicely in my hand

Mine are 14cm in total length. They got really comfortable in my hand (I am glove size 7 to give you an idea of the size of my hands). I suspect 29cm is the length of the package, not the clippers.
