great for cleaning lots of surfaces, great in textured surfaces, great at spot cleaning carpets. I am never without a can or two.

I use this to clean general electronic items, Works a charm

I first discovered Foamclene when I started work in IT. It is an amazing cleaner for grubby keyboards, monitors and PC/Laptop/Peripheral cases, etc. I does suggest on the can NOT to use it on monitors, but to be honest I haven't found a better cleaning product. Admittedly it does take a bit of "elbow grease" to remove all the residue and get it "streak-free", but its anti-static properties means the monitor doesn't attract so much dust. I wouldn't recommend using it on a flatscreen TV, as that would be virtually impossible to get streak-free with this stuff!Since then, I have gone on to discover it also does a decent job of cleaning ink off skin (occupational hazard of using a fountain pen with bottled ink!)...and not recommended as an everyday skin cleaner! In fact the manufacturers only recommend using on solid surfaces...and who knows, maybe I will live to regret using it as a skin cleaner to get ink out! It also makes a fantastic general cleaner for most hard surfaces. Because it foams up, it also lasts a LONG TIME

Could pretty much de-grease a CAR ENGINE with this stuff - its THAT GOOD. Certainly have cleaned disgusting PC's from utterly gross back to near new and does half the work for you in the foaming. Can remember when could get a can for £2 mark. But despite price increases very much see AF as 'original and BEST' Highly reccomend.

Some foam cleaners can also be used to clean monitor/TV screens. Not this one. It clearly states that in the instructions, so why some reviewers are bemoaning the fact probably says more about their lack of due diligence rather than a problem with the product. By the way, don't use it on live equipment. Use sparingly on a cloth for keyboards. Don't drink it. Don't use as a substitute for deodorant. Don't use it on coffee. In common with many remotely hazardous products, this should not be purchased by dullards. I found it to be very effective in cleaning a wide range of crud from hard, none porous surfaces; the reason why it was purchased in the first place. Only downside (for me at least) is that it is made in China.

messy to use. not extraordinary..off the shelf windows cleaner does the same job

Bought my first can over a decade ago and wasn't sure if this newer-looking can was the same. It is. You need this in your life if you have a music studio and want to keep things clean from piano keys to vintage synths - personally I haven't even noticed that it smears on screens when I've used it on those ... just very useful stuff 👍
