This stuff is great. It's the best sealant for standard inner tubes I've used. Seals quickly, you can see and hear where the puncture is and even works at high(ISH) pressures. It's easy for even the least mechanically minded person to use and install and the valve core tool in the lid is made of firm enough plastic to remove the core without grinding down. My wife has this in the tubes on her commute bike and hasn't had a flat in over 5 years. She loves it because she hates changing a tube by the side of the road and doesn't mind going a little slower. I won't touch it because it adds to rolling resistance, rotational weight and decreases the suppleness of the tyre, especially on corners. Basically, it'll slow you down by a few watts and I need all the help I can get. I also don't mind changing an inner tube on the rare occasion that I puncture.

I read many reviews saying that this is not good for mountain bikes. However, I noticed that the same amount of slime was being used in motorcycle tyres and thought that the surface area inside the tube would therefore not be too large within mountain bike tyres. I was right. It works perfectly so far after a month and with a puncture that the slime instantly repaired with no need for a traditional puncture repair patch. But I guess you have to follow the instructions. Don't just put the slime in the tyre and then leave it to stand. You must cycle around on it for about 30 minutes to make sure the layer of slime is distributed well within the inner surface of the inner tube. This is a good product that works well and I expect, will prevent problems from punctures in the future. I like it so much that I will install it on all three family bikes now. One more tip is to take care if you have Presta valves on your bike. But this problem is easily overcome if you just buy very cheap Schrader to Presta valve adapters that can easily be cleaned after the slime has been used inside them.

I started using this for my kids bike tyres a while ago. FOR PUNCTURE REPAIR: It is dead easy and very quick, no need even to remove the wheel from the bike. The instructions on the pack are straightforward and easy to follow. Once repaired the tyre stays repaired - no need to replace and no worries about future punctures. The wheels seems to function exactly as it did before. FOR PUNCTURE PREVENTION: Also seems very effective, just use as you would if there was a puncture and the inner tube is protected against puncture. I use about 1/3 of a bottle on each tyre. I highly recommend this.

Received two bottles of this slim puncture prevention gel after reading mixed reviews, both bottles arrived undamaged but both had slight leaks (screw on lids loose) only a small amount of slime was lost so they were still good to use , I was going to use this product on my Electric mountain bike and my wife's electric mountain bike , this product is primarily designed to be used with the schrader inner tube vale (car type valve) the black screw on lid on the slime has a built in slot/tool so you can remove your schrader valve but i found the quality of the valve removal cap/tool to be made of plastic so was very soft and two vales came out easily and the other two were very tight so the cap/tool start to split open making it impossible to remove the last two valves so I purchased a alloy removal tool which removed the final two valves in seconds . the slime product when connected with the clear plastic pipe supplied easily and snugly onto the schrader valve and the slim went in easily with no mess at all , I used half a bottle on each tyre and then rotated each tyre to spread the slim , hopefully this product will stop us getting punctures . worth noting it is important still to carry an airpump either cordless electric or manual because if you do pick up a puncture the inner tube could lose some air before the slim seals the puncture.

I am trusting that most of the previous reviewers are correct, and the puncture sealing properties of this product are going to work as advertised. This is a really difficult product to review because if it works you arent going to be aware that it is indeed working! Should it fail then you are really going to be aware of an epic fail! I have followed the instructions and used half of the bottle in each cycle tyre,other reviewers (not all of them) have had problems removing the valves and filling the tyres,I had no problems at all it was really straightforward and easy (Buyers should be aware that the valve remover only works on presta valves....that is to say the car tyre type valves) the hardest part of the operation was re-pumping my tyre back up! Should I have a mass attack of punctures I suspect I would have trouble getting my money back...how could you return this product! LOLOL! If I do discover any issues with this slime I shall return and edit this review.

I bought this stuff as a precaution having bought a new mountain bike. To get the slime into the tyre, the valve core has to be removed with the plastic tool supplied. I found this so easy I reckon with the appropriate training, a chimpanzee could do it. In fairness, though it is probably going to be quicker to do it yourself. Am I glad I got the slime? Damn right! Just a week after sliming up, I took my new bike on a ride through the local country park. I realised I wasn't as fit as I thought I was after 30 mins so rode back to the car. On getting the bike back in the house, I looked at the tyres and was horrified to find a large number of thorns in each tyre! I proceeded to remove the thorns and ended up with air hissing out all over the place. I was almost instantly left with two flat tyres. However!... After pumping up and spinning the tyre a few times and bashing the tyre hole side down, the slime eventually filled all of the rather nasty holes. It did take some perseverance as there were many, many holes. I now have two solid tyres again without the need to replace inner tubes. This stuff is awesome and well worth the money.

Ni ha sido un pinchazo provocado por un objeto punzante, ni tampoco un reventón por otras causas. Se ha desinflado la rueda de isofacto en medio del campo sin poder pedir ayuda o asistencia a nadie. he puesto el producto y he echo girar la rueda en vacío ( sin aire ) varios minutos, el producto se ha esparcido por toda la cámara, he puesto un poco de aire para dar presión y rodar la rueda andando un buen rato, he terminado de inflar a mano y he salido del apuro en pocos minutos. Pasados unos días y por capricho de ver que es lo ocurrido, he desmontado la rueda y sacado la cámara. He visto que una de las juntas de las muchas tiras que forman las cámaras, se ha despegado 3 mm. ( una rajita ), buscado el objeto punzante, observado la cubierta y tampoco hay nada. Conclusión, ha sido defecto de la cámara. Al hacer girar la rueda, el líquido ha salido con la primera presión por la raja, se ha esparcido entre cámara y cubierta y al dar mas presión, se han pegado entre ellas no dejando salir el aire. Por supuesto, de paso he cambiado la cámara por una nueva. Este producto es para ponerlo dentro de la rueda antes de pinchar, no lo hice así, al ser una bici eléctrica nueva en garantía y no quería manipularla. Ahora la cámara nueva lleva el producto dentro para cuando suceda de nuevo, al salir tape el solo el agujero. Lo recomiendo al 100%, es mejor que quedarse tirado.

This is my third time buying this item. The first time, it did not work due to the damage to the tire is too big. The second time I used the full bobble to fix several small holes in the 20x4 tire, and worked. This time, I used half of the bottle to fix a couple of small holes in the 20x4 tire, it worked!

Realmente si me funcionó para sellar una fuga entre el rin y el neumático en una de las ruedas de mi patín eléctrico, auque el producto advierte que solo sella pinchaduras en la franja de rodamiento yo incline la rueda para que al líquido se mantuviera a un costado entre el rin y el neumático y si selló. Gracias...
