This is a very well thought out murder mystery game. It is broken down into three parts, each with a specific goal and the relevant pieces of evidence to help reach the goal. There is also an estimated time for each part so you know before you start how long it might take. You do need to do the parts in the correct order but due to the way it has been put together, you don’t necessarily have to do it all in one day - we did part one, and then parts two and three a couple of days later. We completed this as a family and all of us really enjoyed it. Sifting through the evidence (of which there is quite a lot), finding the relevant information and ruling out suspects was great fun. We will definitely be buying more of these in the future as it’s a great way to spend the afternoon with the family whilst having a go at being detectives.

Brilliant fun! I took it on holiday and it’s a fairly small packet so didn’t intrude into weight allowance. The game was a little complicated to get use to, but once you did it was great fun! We were entertained for hours. Great game and well Worth the money

First time doing this kind of activity. Found it totally engrossing and thoroughly enjoyable. Found the final part the most challenging and will definitely learn from this for next time. Only problem now is which one to choose next. Great for a date night.

This was probably the most fun I have had solving a fake crime. Cryptic Killers have created a game with twists and turns at every corner. This took me roughly 3 hours, maybe more, but it is so much fun to play by yourself or with others. It also has an online element where they provide hints, more evidence and where you can upload your answers. At first, I was a little off put by the price, but now that I have played it, I have bought two more! It is such a great gift and really good price wise for the content that you get and the effort that they put into it. My only issue I had when completing this was I really wanted to know why it happened. I won't include any spoilers in this review as I don't wish to ruin it for anyone who plays in the future. However, I would have liked to know why the killer did it as it didn't feel like it had a satisfying ending, they included the online explanation of what happened which I thought was a good summary, but all I would suggest is WHY it happened and that would make it all that much better. BUT... With that being said, excellent game, had loads of fun and strongly recommend you purchase

Great way to spend an afternoon! very comprehensive

I had wanted to try one of these games for ages so when sale came I had to buy one. I didn't know then it was rated 4.5 out of 5 for difficulty but gave it a go and wow!!! The case file containing 3 parts in envelopes contained substantial really realistic professional documents for evidence amd thanks to the amazing Web page with hints I got onto the online inbox for vital evidence I'd have otherwise missed. I love the presentation amd storyline and didn't want to spoil game so I could pass to family so grabbed a notebook and only needed hint once and ok one time complete answer but that's what's great, the online hints pages I broken down so you van use as many hints as you need or fully reveal the answer so you can't get stuck anywhere totally unable to move on which is great. I love how it is all designed and the suit answer page was nerve wracking but great amd again not to worry as other games may lock you out for incorrect answer, this does not thankfully as I accidently clicked wrong button on one so please try amd use all the evidence amd maybe hints but failing all you won't waste your money even if you really can't work it out it's set up to be able to reveal anything allowing you to progress. I also loved how once I solved the case it gave a detailed account of the storyline, suspects and evidence as although I still got there I had also missed some clues which was great to see at end. Please keep up good work This would make an excellent gift and I've already requested 2 more from family for Christmas however......can I wait that long. I am off to read about the other cases amd decide my next one Brilliant best game I've played thank so much for thinking of such detailed gameplay.

Really fun and different activity. The puzzles are interesting and it feels like solving a real case. Good quality materials and great for a night in as a family game or the perfect gift for a mystery lover
