I sent these rechargeable LED tube lamps to my family in Cuba, and they were absolutely thrilled! The lights are incredibly bright, illuminating the space perfectly, and the battery lasts a very long time on a single charge. They mentioned how easy the lamps are to use, recharge, and move around as needed. The quality feels solid and reliable, and they have already made daily tasks much easier at home. After a recent thirteen hour power outage, I decided we needed a few more USB charged LED Lights around. This one is a gem. Incredibly bright on high and still decently bright on the lowest setting. It has magnets built in so you can stash it someplace handy. This one now resides on the front of our fridge in the Kitchen. The lowest setting will run for about 8 hours non-stop and provided enough light to be useful for basic tasks. On medium it want for about 6 hours and was surprisingly bright. I haven't time tested it on high but the light is awesome. Almost too bright on high, it will provide enough light to keep a fair sized area safe to move about in or, if you can suspend it up high, probably to just carry on with normal activities. Good supplement to a "Ghost light" on a dark stage. Easily chargeable via USB, it just works which is the highest compliment I can give utility/emergency items. I believe it can also be used to charge a phone and such but at cost to length of time as a light. This would also be a great add-on to a trunk lid or tail gate on a car or SUV as it is small and won;'t get int he way. When I was a lad, all car hoods and trunk lids had decent lights in them for working. That seems to have vanished many decades back but this would be a great substitute. But DON'T leave it attached under the hood, it'll cook to death quickly and maybe catch fire or explode. Lithium batteries get touchy sometimes. If you want/need some safety lights for outages or odd dark places in your home or crypt, this is one of the best I've had. Got some heft to it and feels sturdy and not at all fragile.

Ok, so when buying this you have to look at the different sizes that they have. The smallest size is 5 in which is what I got. I use this for the inner shell of our tent. I stick it to the top of the tent with the included metal discs and it is lightweight enough that it doesn't weigh down the top of the tent. It is very hard to find a light that I can stick at the top of the tent that will not weigh it down and this does the job perfectly. The magnets on the light are strong enough that the included metal plates I can put on one side of the lining (without having to take the 3M backing off and stick it to the lining of the tent) of the inner tent and put the light on the other side and the light will still stick to the metal plates and not weigh down the top of the tent. I love that and have not been able to find a magnetic tent light that I could use in this manner!! As far as I'm concerned I want to buy all of these tube lights that they have!! And I love that it is dimmable with three light settings and holy cow are these things the brightest lights that we have in our tent! They make the dark inner shell of our tent super bright! The only downside I would say that they have is that the charging cord is very short but I can get over that fact because the charge holds for a very very long time and it's rechargeable so we're not wasting batteries. You can also Stick it to any metal surface which is also a bonus because we use it for things other than camping. My husband is a mechanic and it's very useful in the garage as well! If you're on the fence about these little lights don't be they are awesome and you will love them just make sure you check what size you're buying before you buy it.

I reserve 5 stars for products I truly cannot find fault with. These lights are amazing! First Purchase: I bought the first one for the storm shelter (metal walls). WOW it's a LOT of light! The storm went by and we were comfortable in a well-lit space. Second Purchase: I was in an unfortunate power outage situation. By this time, I had purchased another one. I hung them in the middle of the family room and bedroom on the existing (dark) lights and it was brighter than the "normal" lighting! They lasted the entire time the power was out - almost an entire day, so I don't know how long they would have lasted. Next Episode: Okay, then I was changing out a faucet and grabbed the light to hand to the plumber. He left it turned on (in the cabinet) when he left. I didn't notice until "noonish" the next day - It was still bright! I STILL don't know how long these lights last! Another time: I used it under the hood of the truck stuck the magnets to the hood and it provided all the light I needed. I forgot it was there and drove to the store with it stuck under the hood. Once I remembered, I raised the hood expecting it to be gone. Nope! The magnets held it in place! Bonus: The magnets are strong, so it's easy to find something to attach it to and you KNOW it's not going to accidently get knocked off. Bonus - I put this in my car when I went on a trip because it has a strobe effect when you hold down the button - so it's an emergency light - and great in a crowd or out in the country at night to find your family too! Other "stuff" - There are 3 brightness settings and it also comes with a strap (if you need to hang it from a non-metalic surface). It charges with a standard micro B / USB (included). Summary: Super bright, lasts a long time, strong magnets, strobe effect I've purchased this 4 times now and will likely purchase again.

The only downside to this was, at least for me, the magnetic holds. The magnets are quite strong, and they hold to the little steel pads well. But the fault is in the stick ons for the steel pads. They're concave on the backside, and the double sided tape didn't hold on to painted drywall with enough force. Thrice the light stick fell, and I'm surprised it wasn't damaged. Eventually I mounted the pads with screws, and now it holds just fine. That said, the light holds a charge so long that after two months I can't tell that it isn't fully charged (on the brightest setting), in a closet that gets used daily. Being able to take it with you as a work light to the shed or garage or search under the bed for something is a great bonus. Having more than a click thru the brightness levels would be a good added bonus, maybe an extra switch that allows a set light intensity and the on/off simply does that, rather than the cycle. But I would recommend it to anyone, and will buy again, though forewarned about the magnetic attachments, I'll put something stronger up than the small pads next time.

These lights are fabulous! Rechargeable and convenient. I use them under and inside of my cabinets. When we lost power we were able to reach into the cabinet and grab one since I keep them charged all the time. You can't go wrong if you need a light to see inside a dark spot in your cabinet or closet.

I bought this light because I have a climate controlled storage unit in which I keep website inventory in for my store. I have no access to power inside the units and I needed a way to have light. I was looking at buying a battery bank and just using a floor lamp, but I was told it would not have power very long and was referred to something like these lights. I use 2 in 10 × 10 unit and they work very well! If I had 2 more in there, I'm sure it would be as if I had a normal lighting situation. The fact that these have built-in magnets and I can just pop them where I want to in my storage unit is my favorite feature of these lights. I'm in my unit a few times a week for about 10 minutes each time. What I usually do is charge these up, stick 'em on the wall, turn them on when I get there and off when I leave, then take them down to recharge them when die. I can usually go a few weeks off of a charge doing that. And that brings me to my main issue with these lights: charging. They take forever to charge. Like, I'm talking 8 hours. They only come with a usb cable and charging them off of your pc takes a hella long time. And the charge only lasts for about 3, maybe 4 hours of continual use on the brightest setting. If the charging were quicker and the charge held longer, I would give these 5 stars easily because their ease of use fits my need perfectly. But the charging problems are just that: problems.
