Perfect Produce at an Amazing Price
This dough hook works perfectly, and the price point is an absolute steal. It fit my KitchenAid tiltโhead mixer with no issues and handles dough exactly as expected. One tip from a rookie mistake (mine, not the product): wash it right after using so the dough doesnโt dry on. Iโm officially entering my homemade bread era, and this has been the perfect addition to my baking arsenal. Highly recommend!

It fits older model Kitchenaid
I had lost the dough hook for my 1978 model Kitcheaid mixer. This hook works great! I didn't even know what the model number is on this old thing, but my husband said let's try it, and it does work fine.

It's stainless Steel, so it's a little heavy
I've had a tilt head Kitchen Aid mixer for 16 years, that means I've gone through a few enamel coated aluminum dough hooks, probably forth one currently. A couple chipped way to easily, my current one is actually quite good. A couple chips in none dough contact area.I have noticed stainless steel dough hooks are available recently so time to update, esp at the near same selling price as the coated aluminum one. After baking lots of bread in last 16 years, the feather light aluminum dough hook was handled frequently, it's really light. Yesterday this SS version showed up. It's like lifting a weight at the gym by comparison, just kidding. It's almost to pretty to use.Impressed, a big yes!

The Mercedes-Benz of dough hooks
I've been using a KitchenAid tilt-head mixer for decades. My current plastic-coated dough hook finally started to peel, as they and the beater hooks always eventually do. This new stainless steel model came today, and it is a thing of functional beauty. Heavier in weight than the coated aluminum ones, of course, but that doesn't seem to be a problem at all. It kneaded my pizza dough with ease just now. Be sure to get this model, as it looks almost (or exactly) like the KA branded one, and the price is excellent. (Some other models have an upward lip on the disk, which others have commented catches flour and other ingredients added to the mixer bowl.)

Solid clean stainless steel
This is PERFECT! It is solid stainless steel, unlike the leaking aluminum Kitchenaid version, fits my mixer bowl perfectly, and is great for mixing very firm doughs. Absolute 5 star version compared to Kitchenaid.
