My husband puts this in the chicks water and feeds it for the same length of time as you would chic crumbs. You are probably aware that the EU stopped us from putting the preventative medication against coccidios in chic crumbs. We telephoned around nearly all the Vets in our area Somerset who could only sell us the huge litre bottles of this medication. We breed a small number of rare breed chickens each year and I discovered this product on the internet. Presumably some very sensible pigeon breeders solved the problem for so many of us who only keep a small flock. **Q: Seen a few people use this for chickens any idea on dose? I have 6 chickens in total. Thanks** A: Hey, I have not used this for chickens but it says on the bottle to add 28ml in 4.5litre of water and give it to the birds.
