Review: Was great while it lasted. - Edit again** customer service created a return label for me for free and I sent the pen back for repair I had my original pin back and completely repaired and good as new in about a week and a half. Customer service was amazing raising my review back to five stars and hopes that this time it will last a little while. Edit**I reached out to the company through there website and they immediately agreed to create a shipping label for me to send the pen in for repair or replacement. I’m upping the rating for cust service and will adjust the rating further once my pen has been fixed or replaced. Hopefully the first one breaking was a fluke. This pen was great while it lasted. Unfortunately almost 2 months to the day after purchase the little retaining washer inside of the pen that puts pressure on the side, click buttons broke. Now the pen is more or less useless. For the price of it, I really expected more. I’m not usually one to spend so much money on a pen, but after a couple months of consideration, I finally decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. Extremely disappointed to say the least. It looks like the seller offers a lifetime warranty if it’s bought directly on their website but I can’t find any kind of warranty information If it was purchased off desertcart. can’t even find a way to contact the seller now that it’s been two months since I purchased it. Again, this pen started off great at first so I figured I would have this pen for many many years but unfortunately that will not be the case. I would have to advise saving your money or spending it elsewhere because $105 for a two month pen is not ok.
Review: Copper is heavy - This is my favorite pen out of the collection. I got the pen because the clicking mechanism intrigued me. I have a bulkier bolt-action pen, which is very satisfying. However it isn't practical for writing for long note taking sessions. Don't remember how I came across this pen but decided to splurge when I saw it was made out of copper. The good: The pen is beautiful. At first I could see that the oil from my fingers was leaving oxidation on the shiny new metal. But after a few days everything on the pen started looking like copper pipes. Kind of, in a steam punk kind of way. Still beautiful. I can compare the slightly oxidize metal to the new metal because when I adjust the rings I can see the new shiny metal. You can polish it (I could see how the maintaince would be fun for some), but I really do like the look of shiny clip and release button with the copper. My favorite pen to look at. The clicking mechanism is satisfying as well. I don't find myself craving to play with the bolt-action as much as this. I work as a teacher, so things can be stressful for me at times, this helps a little. There are times when I just want to sit and click this pen. The reason could be how beautiful and heavy the copper is. Additionally, the clicking mechanism is moderate. You can't rapid fire like most pens. And it isn't as violent as my bolt-action when I release it, it is balanced. The bad: It is heavy. I didn't notice it at first, but a few hours of note taking and you can feel where the pen is laying. The longer you go the more uncomfortable it gets. I use both my titanium and copper pen while writing. The copper pen I use for the bulk of my writing because of the thin refill, and the titanium for basicly bold lines. ( I know I could switch the two). When I put the copper pen down, and pick the titanium up I could feel a major diffrence. The titanium feels much lighter. Summary: If I lost this pen, I would purchase it again within a week or two. Even the negative factor of it being heavy is a plus. The reason being is that I find myself making micro-adjustments in order to keep writing; therefore, the pen is helping me with proper technique. But, IMO one copper pen is enough, I was thinking about getting a copper fountain pen, but it maybe too heavy for long periods. And I enjoy the mechanics on it so much, I am considering getting the titanium version. Mainly because my regular clicker is so soft, which is still good for when you are having a talk with your boss, but not to satisfy my general clicking needs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ How does it stack up to competitors?
*by B***N on October 21, 2022*

I purchased this product to have an alternative to my standard diameter short tactile turn side click. It is the same price as this item and is basically a direct competitor to it. My feedback for this item is based on that comparison, as I have no other brands or styles to compare to. This pen is significantly easier to change refills and even use different sizes. It does bug me a bit that you have to tune the length by rotating the handle, and if you are OCD it can be annoying that the adjustment can move when using and make the pen tip go in or out slightly over time. That’s nothing that is inherently wrong with it, and is just a byproduct of the design of the adjusting length for different refills, but it was noticeable to me. The feel of the top button and the side releases is much “crunchier” on this item than the TT pen. It may have some grit from being manufactured, but I did open the end and clean it as best as possible and it’s still just a bit tight. You can basically feel the friction between the titanium button and the inner diameter of the top retaining screw and it makes the feel a bit grindy and gritty. It will likely get better over time, but sandblasted titanium does not rub together well. This likely isn’t a problem on any other model except maybe the raw titanium. I cannot comment on that though because I only have the stonewashed. I appreciate the deeper carry clip compared to the TT’s more shallow carry clip, but it’s also much more flexible and can move side to side and scratch the pen body. It cannot be tightened enough to stop this, because the clip itself just isn’t rigid enough to resist being moved side to side. The TT clip is much thicker and more solid, but also less flexible and tighter to get in thicker materials like denim blue jean pants or a thick cotten button up. Overall it is a good pen with good weight without being too heavy (titanium model only), but I’m not sure if it wins out against the TT side click in a head to head match.
