ProDen PlaqueOff Powder for Dogs & Cats, Tartar & Bad Breath Remover with 100% Natural Teeth Cleaner and Plaque Remover 420 g

I bought this last year, end of August and started using it then on my two Hearing Dogs (one retired and one fully working). The retired one was always happy having his teeth brushed until the Cushings disease made his jaw too sore for me to do this without causing him discomfort. He was a very hairless Chinese Crested Hairless with the wonky dentition that this breed often has and in 2013/14 had to have about a dozen teeth out. This stuff worked for him though I used it with caution given he was suffering from pituitary gland Cushings disease but it did not seem to affect it. It stopped his bad breath really well and meant I could leave his teeth alone - he passed away 1st March. His successor, a very cheeky poodle, absolutely HATES having his teeth brushed even with virbac poultry flavoured toothpaste. This Plaqueoff is a total godsend for me - it WORKS. Must give it REGULARLY at least 5 days a week on some wet food so I sometimes give him some cooked lean reduced fat grilled sausage chopped and sprinkle it on that or on some cooked fish (minus bones) and it always goes down. My Hearing Dog partnership instructor also gave it the thumbs up. I am buying a 420g tub now, instead of 2 x 60 g as it works out cheaper and will last about 6 months - a 60g tub lasts about 5-6 weeks. Hope this helps. I am so grateful for this as it really has stopped new tartar from forming and from time to time, once a month, I grab him and give him a brush but for the most part, can leave him alone!

This powder is brilliant and had sorted our rescue dogs teeth back to health. It takes time so use as directed but it absolutely does the job. We use every day now for good dental hygiene for our dog.

I bought the 420g tub as I tried the smaller tub first and had success with my cats. Was easy to use too.rl The powder is not too course and is fine enough that all my cats have no trouble eating it (mixed in with raw meat). They actually seem to not mind it, so taste might be good! (I have many cats that all like it!) Please note that this type of product is not eligible for amazon return which I had to learn after purchase (even if it's un-opened, I suspect because it might be classified as pet food?). So if you find it cheaper elsewhere, it's not eligible for return like other products on Amazon where you can state the return option as "Found better price elsewhere". Overall the 420g tub is a good product if your happy to pay the price on Amazon, especially if you want the fast delivery.

Really does work very well, just put it in the food. It takes time to work, be patient, make your vet checks.

Bought the PlaqueOff after being recommended it by our vet to help keep our dogs teeth clean and plaque free. They like the taste and we add it to their food with no issues. The odor is fishy but not pungent so happy with that. The powder is fine and mixes well with their food and they have no issues digesting it.

I have used this daily for a few years and my dogs , miniature dachshunds , Labrador and gsp, some in their teens, all have clean teeth with no tartar buildup, would strongly recommend

Mixed review. I've used this with my 11 yr old mastiff for years and it's great. The vet praises his teeth every time. 5* I've just started my 2 yr old husky cross on it and he has pood in the kitchen over night every night for the past 4 days. It clearly doesn't agree with him. 1* Try it because it clearly works but maybe buy a small pot first just in case your dog has an adverse 'brown' reaction to it.

this product has been clinically proven to work. along with regular tooth brushing my 4 dogs teeth stay pearly white. my vet is always impressed with how good their teeth look. can highly recommend this product. plus the jumbo sized pot means it lats a very long time as you only need a tiny scoop of the product.

Alla ricerca di un prodotto che migliorasse il tremendo alito e tartaro del mio Pitt bull, tanto che era impossibile stargli vicino , nonostante mangi solo cibo secco e di qualità... Cmq mi imbatto in questo prodotto , ovviamente ero scettico e di poca fede , impossibile che potesse far qualcosa, ma lo compro lo stesso alla disperata. Dopo neanche 2 settimane l'alito è migliorato alla grande . Il tartaro c'è ancora ci vorrà più tempo per quello ma non importa , l'importante era migliorare l'alito , quindi prodotto consigliato!!!

I have been using this product on my dogs for over 2 years and I can confirm that it does make a difference. The dogs were a little weary of the scent of the product on their dry food at first but now it doesn't bother them. It's a little pricy, so I buy the big container since it's the best value. The product helps reduce the dog's bad breath and it helps to SOFTEN plaque, not remove it completely like some people are probably expecting. Give the dog a bone or a dental treat/toy once in a while and that combination should help remove a lot of the plaque. I can confirm this product works because my dog had plaque build up on one of her rear teeth and I was able to scrape most of it off with just my fingernail -- that's how soft this product made the plaque! Give it a try, and make sure you give it TIME to work, like a month + to start seeing some results.

It works so good in my dogs teeth, helps to prevent tartar and plaque. They eat it with their food with no problem. I totally recommend it.
