Good value, sturdy, perfect size
Bought this bag for a 2500 mile tour from Seattle to Jackson, WY through Yellowstone and back home with the wife. Bag performed flawlessly. Not a bag to hold helmets, but I believe it is the perfect size for a tour pack topper. Easily held two pair of rain gear, sweatshirts, snacks purse, glasses, face masks, gloves.... the list goes on, and all the lotions and potions the wife brings along for sunscreen and such. Basically all the stuff she always wants to have access to every time she gets off the bike. Made a great addition to the saddle bags and the tour pack, and when packed right, kept us from needing to get into any of the other bags until we stopped for the night. This is a well made, rugged bag, that is sleek with a low profile. Not just a big fabric box. It holds it’s shape when empty, but I think too many miles empty might cause it to collapse. The left and right edges are rounded, and seemed to fit a rolled up rain suit perfectly. The bungee system on the bottom is great and holds fast, but I’m not as big of a fan of the Velcro tabs on the four corners. They work just fine, but they are just tedious(IMHO) to attach, but the benefits of this bag far outweigh this small inconvenience. In short, after all that blathering, this is a great bag. If you want to put helmets in a bag on top of your tour pack, keep looking.... but if you want a solid tour pack topper that looks good, roomy and sleek, buy this one.

Great bag holds a lot! Very functional and well designed!
Just took this bag on a 4 day 1200 miles trip! It fit perfectly on my trunk rack and stayed securely everyday! I used the rain cover one day it was super easy to use. Plus the bag has a small compartment at the rear lower edge for the cover! I used compression packing bags and put a lots of stuff in this back! Enough clothes for four days! The quality is fantastic. The smaller compartments on each side are really a great addition and very useful! And the stretch cord on top is where I kept my jacket liner!

Great product! Well made! Very useful!
Ordered for a H-D Road Glide Ultra The bag comes with a heavy duty stretch cord on the bottom and two hooks, allowing you to stretch it tight one the rack on your trunk. Also had 4-corner Velcro straps. I found that to best get the Velcro straps to keep the bag from moving you have to “roll” the loop part around your rack, then lock with the hook part. After receiving the bag, I took a 1700 mile trip with it. Performed flawlessly. As Harley suggests weight limits on the back trunk, I use mine to carry rain gear and a spare layer jacket, plus a few road snacks. Mostly bulky but very lightweight stuff. I bought mine as a “return” or whatever here on Amazon. Still sealed in original box and saved a few bucks. Box was a little crushed. Who cares? It this was ever stolen off my bike I’d instantly buy one again.

and it was wonderful. Plenty of storage for both of our clothes ...
Just got back from a 1,000+ mile trip using the Kuryakyn Momentum Hitchhiker, and it was wonderful. Plenty of storage for both of our clothes and snacks/water. I only have two little complaints that keep me from giving it 5 stars. First, the elastic around rainfly needs some sort of a drawstring or retention snap. We thought we were going to get into some rain, so we put the fly on in advance. And while it is attached to the bag at one point via velcro (where it gets tucked into the fly storage compartment), it is just an elastic fit over the whole bag. After a bunch of miles going 80 mph, it flew off. Luckily I saw this right away and pulled over and tucked it back into the storage compartment. It'd be better if there was a snap or drawstring to tighten the fly down. I think I will use a bungee next time for added security. Second issue are the water bottle pockets. The "elastic" really isn't functional. It is very stiff and I would not trust putting anything valuable in those pockets for risk of it falling out. We just used small disposable water bottles and they didn't move, but I wouldn't trust putting sunglasses or something like that in there.

Great bag designed for this purpose
My wife and I upgraded out Roadglide this past year with a tour pak. We bought this Kuryakyn bag for the top of the tour pak in preperation for a tour to Montana. This bag provided a nice storage option for gear that we may need to access in a hurry, like rain gear. The bungee cord on top worked nicely for stowing jackets etc. as the changing weather conditions dictated changes in our gear. The included rain cover fits nicely over the bag and worked well to keep our stuff dry during the final 120 miles of rain soaked riding. After checking it out, a few friends were impressed enough that they said they may buy one as well. I can recommend this product so far. PS: In regards to earlier reviews of the ill fitting elastic on the rain fly. My bag's rain fly came with a quick adjusting draw string instead of elastic and there was never any issue of it trying to fly off as we traveled.

Amazing
4th trip to Sturgis and it is working like a champ. It attaches to my tour pack securely and don’t have to worry about it coming off. It hold a lot more that you would think it holds. And the rain cover works very well. I rode in a rain storm for 3 hours straight and not a drop inside the bag I just got my wife one for her trip to sturgis

Bello e funzionale
