Bought some lovely nougat in Spain over Christmas. Brought some back; ate it and really wanted a similar product here in UK. So searched Amazon and found this. Lovely and tasty, almost as good as the nougat I had in Spain. Reasonably priced.

This is so lovely - I always loved to bring home loads after a Spanish holiday - unfortunately can't get abroad nowadays due to health and age!!! Shame it is quite costly, but now l have found it will treat myself now and again

love this product and the soft vershon anred if i cold i wod give more sars exept for the fact im sorry to say the choise of delivery cunpeny and there atitude leave some to be desired as they send out texts to mobils from nos with no prifixs codes with out a care that mobils are not abil to contact back if either there is no eria code and also not tacking in to account that some mobils are bar3d from 0800 and 0847 n0s exetera which mean the person in question as to rush about on comp to trace a land line and wen they eplane the issu they are spoke to some what rudley and ased why bothering with the call if ur in and then get told after u av explaned u need time to get to door ok ill tell driver buit u get no apoliy and when u say that theres always the danger another time u wont be abilt to get hold of depo it time and that ur pone cant call nos with no erea coder or 0800 nos exeta u get told bluntley thers nothing i can do about that is sead of ok next time well ring u or somit like that so i stogley recoment the turron serplier changes there currier as the currier reflets badley on the foo-d cunpeny but in sore like last year the turron will be 1st class as allways and ill injoy eating it naughty mi im a 50 od yr old kid lol merry christmas

This is the so-called "Torta de Turron" from Alicante, Spain. They are made in the town of Jijona, a place with a long tradition in the manufacture of these gastronomic treats. They contain mainly toasted almonds. If taken with Spanish Brandy (e.g. Cardenal Mendoza), they make one of the best combination of flavors I have ever had.

This is a SOFT type of TURRON (some are really hard, teeth breaking hard). Not overly sweet and with a very thin wafer on both sides. Absolutely delicious. Keeps well for a long time (I have tried and long as several weeks).
