My partner is a retired joiner so has used many similar tools in his working life, and at home, so he should knows what he is talking about; well hopefully! I am disappointed that the saw did not come with any dust collector bag. If you cut both sides it may do it. Rapid clean cuts though you do have to concentrate to make sure your cut starts in the right place. But it has done a great job cutting planks. My only concern was with the instructions which assumed that I knew how to lock the blade and the order and alignment of washers. I had to recourse to YouTube so I am now an expert! but the procedures are straight forward.
