For crafting, not wearing
Great for decorating and hanging on the wall. DOES NOT FIT A HUMAN FACE! They are durable and a great value for crafting.

Fun masks!
Used it for a school project with my students. Great quality and size! My students had alot of fun decorating them.

Minimize the amount of water in your brush if painting
I have purchased these masks consistently for a few years. They take pencil very well, but be careful with water based markers, they will soften the integrity of the mask and weaken it, creating holes or tears. If you use watercolors, you will have the same problem, but acrylics will work very well with this. A coworker ( Mr. Wimberly) and I collaborated on a special project and we used newspaper and glue to collage positive words of affirmation. The masks turned out great! Afterwards, we used Aileene's Tacky glue to lay down all of the raised newspaper edges and to provide a smooth and clear finish. I gave these masks 3.5 out of 5 stars in part because of how easily the masks soften under water based materials. Acrylic paint, acrylic markers, crayon, oil pastels, pastels etc. would be my recommendations to use with these masks if these are for student use. If you want these masks to have any degree of durability, you will have to seal it with a thick glue or Mod Podge.

I got these for a art project this is a great base to build your paper mache mask! Or just paint them either way great product would fit adults face.

Size concern
I got these for my theatre class and my kids loved them! The only thing is they struggled with them as 12 year olds. The small sizes were too small, and the adult sizes were too big. Maybe they could use a medium?

Durable
I am a drama therapist and teach art techniques ti youth & adults. This mask my staff and clients love they are very durable. We can paint draw all color on them and they look really good. I really like these and I will be ordering more.
