Rainbow Premium Dual Tip Artist Markers (24 pack) - a wonderful addition to an artist's color collection. These are great for beginners as well as experienced artists - or those who are indulging in coloring books. The colors are bright, the regular colors (as apposed to the light or pastel colors) are quite dark. So if you want to outline anything, the regular colors will do that very well. The lighter colors (or pastels) are great for adding accents and contrast to your picture or artwork.I really like that these pens have the brush tip (1-2 mm size) as well as the fine tip (.8 mm size) of each color. It allows for coloring in spaces of a variety of sizes. The brush tip also allows you to cover a larger area at one time than the fine tip but both the brush tip and the fine tip are the same shade of each color. Very helpful when coloring in detail areas of a picture. The brush tip, when used with single swipes of the pen to color in an area, leaves a light line between then lines of the swipes. It doesn't blend in completely together. This is true for both the regular and pastel colors.I really love that there is no bleeding of color through the paper though! Even the regular or dark colors don't show through the back side of the page. Granted I'm using semi-thick paper but still, other markers I've used have bled to the back of the paper in varying amounts. But the Rainbow Premium Dual Tip Artist Markers do not bleed through the paper!The only things I've found I'd like to have that's not included in this pack are a couple shades of brown (there is only a regular brown marker), a couple shades of grey (there is only a black marker), and a regular purple marker (there's only a light lavender marker).Overall I've found this to be a great set of artist markers. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in adding color to their world.

I love the dual tips! They really are different and produce a totally different effect on paper. They work really well in my coloring book and don't bleed through. If I color over the same spot too many times, the paper does "pick up" a bit, but that could be the paper quality. I love how the brush tip works and gives a nice watercolor effect. The fine point really is fine. It can be used for coloring those small areas or writing. I also paper quill and will be using the markers for some finishing touches on my products.The only thing I would change would be to have the caps be more true to the actual color of the marker. I find myself having to do a color test on another sheet of paper all the time because some of the caps are so similar in color but the markers are not.Oh, and I would put some tape one the bottom of the box they come in. When delivered, there were markers rolling all over the bottom of the delivery box and as my luck would have it, a bag of arrowroot powder that was shipped in the same box leaked so I had dusty markers😯

Every marker is nice and juicy and the colors are bright vibrant. The bullet and brush ends are tapered to nice fine tips and are also sturdy so there is no distortion when using. They work well coloring my project elements. I'm also very pleased (YAY) that the caps match each of the colors perfectly. That in itself is very refreshing, as it's frustrating to work with markers with caps that do not match the color of the ink.Sometimes I want a nice water color effect that looks hand painted, and these markers with the wide range of color makes that effect possible. These markers also work well using an aqua painter brush. I scribble the color onto an acrylic block and pick up the color with my aqua painter brush. So direct coloring and aqua painting techniques work great using these markers. The price is excellent and so is the quality. Thank you so much!

I love coloring! Especially with dual tip markers! Precision on one end and a filler on the other end! Also, I like to practice calligraphy. These markers are very bright and pigmented. Unlike other reviewers, I haven’t noticed any of them drying out, yet. I’ll keep an eye out and update if I notice any changes.Now.... The only downside is that the brush tips are very delicate. No matter how tender I am, I found that the fibers continue to splinter. Markers I use often look a little different than the others. Although, it doesn’t happen all at once, they’re still fine-tipped and suitable for coloring. I only notice the fragmented strands while the tip is on the paper. I know soon I’ll have to invest in a higher quality set.Overall, I’ve very much enjoyed my experience with these markers. However, I wouldn’t suggest gifting these to children.

I bought these markers to get back into drawing and lettering.PROS: The markers don't bleed. The fine and thick lines allows you draw with varying definition. It is easy to blend the various colors. There are plenty of colors so you don't feel limited in what you can do or draw.CONS: I only just started using these markers and the thick ends are already fraying. It depends on what you plan to do with them, that may or may not be a problem. Since I plan to use them for lettering I do wish they help up a little better.

I rated these dual tip pens, four stars. However, that may not be a fair evaluation since I have only used them once since I purchased them and that did not go so well. Although, I believe it is a learning issue. Never having used these before; it will take some practice I'm sure. I was not successful at blending colors. Once I learn how to work with them, I can rate them five stars because it is a very nice set of pens!

I love the brush tip on these pens. The sensation is like painting when you get the tip of a paint brush "just right": just the right amount of ink and the nice point on the end.This is the first time I've ever used a brush tip pen/marker. I intend on trying these with wet watercolor paper. I just received the pens today, so I have not had the opportunity to "watercolor" with them yet.I did color a page in a coloring book and the markers worked really well. I thought the brush tip might bleed through (even though the coloring book paper is very thick). But everything worked out fine.

Would give a five star but they bled through... other then that they are nice!
