Works well
If you're unfortunate enough to have to use one of these it's the best out there because of the adjustable pivot point which helps with comfort. Thankfully, I've since had an AUS surgically implanted that has highly alleviated the incontinence problem.

When you need to be sure to stop leakage for a couple of hours, this device is perfect!
This clamp came in handy for my last colonoscopy as it stopped leakage during the process. It is painless and so easy to use.

Best clamp out there!
I wrote a review of this product several months ago, but it seems to have disappeared from the site. I said in that review that I thought this clamp is the best out there (almost a 5 star). I have used almost every clamp on the market for the last 15 years. The best one, up until this point, was the Squeezer Klip. I was one of the first ones to use it. In fact, I helped the original designers (two old guys) make small changes. The problem with that clamp is that it absorbed moisture and has to be cleaned frequently. It was also expensive at $95 and only lasted 3-6 months and you could not change the pads. I bought the original Lunderg clamp and was impressed with the quality (far better than any other on the market). However, it didn't work for me. Because it was not adjustable at both ends the penis slides to the right side almost immediately and then the pads no longer work. I spoke with the Lunderg folks, both via e-mail and on the phone, over a couple of weeks. We had a great dialogue and they were excited about he idea of changing the design. I even offered to test any new design. Unfortunately, after a lot of discussion within their organization, they decided not to make changes at that time. Obviously I was disappointed. I stumbled on the new design and was elated that they had made changes, adding the changeable pads and an adjustment on the right side as well as the one already on the left. The new clamp is of great quality and it is half the price of the Squeezer Klip. It is also easy to clean and you can use it in the swimming pool. I also love that you can buy additional pads for $20. I have shown the clamp to both my GP and my Urologist, both of whom thought it was a good idea (and have suggested it to their patients). As for those who are worried about infections, I have never had one with any of the clamps over the years. I did before the clamps as wearing a wet pad is not healthy. Also I do not sleep with it on since it is good to release every few hours. I don't believe you have to do it every hour as I never have. Sometime I have forgotten that I had it on and worn it to bed and only realize it when I get up to go to the bathroom. There are a couple of suggestions I would make at this time. First, it would be nice if the overall profile was smaller. I was concerned that it would be too large and possibly be visible. That hasn't been a problem, but I would like to see it made smaller if possible. The second thing would be to color the adjustment nub (maybe red tip) on the multiple adjustable side (I use a colored marker but it doesn't last long). It is hard to see which notch it is in. Coloring would let you know you are in the correct one. Finally, I would suggest that they provide the option to purchase just the two pads that work for you instead of all of the pads. They could charge less money (and maybe save money corporate wise) and you wouldn't waste resources making pads that you will never wear. Russ Johnson

Only lasted 8 mo - Clamp snapped
The hard plastic clamp only lasted 8 months, so buying replacement pads is unnecessary. I am shocked the $50 clamp lasts less time than the pad! I thought buying the most expensive clamp would result in better quality, but evidently I chose wrong. The next biggest company's clamp cost 30% less, but I originally reasoned that paying more would give a better quality product. Evidently I was wrong. I was actually very happy with it until it broke. UPDATE: I ordered the Confidence Clamp with $10+ 2-day shipping. It works well and came with a card saying if you register it online, the warranty is extended to 1yr. The next day I got an Amazon message from Lundren offering me a refund or replacement for the snapped clamp, so I appreciate they essentially paid for the other clamp I purchased from them.

most comfortable, but breaks easily
I bought this clamp last September, because I was frustrated with the other brands for 8 years. None seemed to be able to stop the leaking completely and they dug into my flesh when I needed to go. I hoped this would do better, but, even with the hinged design, it pinched my skin. I finally gave up and started using Depends. I recently had surgery and was forced to stay home. I decided to give this product another try. It did better, but did not stop the leaking. It did slow it down enough to where I could wear one Depends for a whole day. But it broke after only a month's use. I ordered another and figured that you have to grasp the sides of the clamp and pull, instead of pulling on the part the latches. Hopefully, this will last a bit longer.

Adjustable comfort, Leakage control
Like that it is easy to clean. Like various pad widths including upper V-pad and ultra wide lower pad. It is more comfortable than a Cunningham clamp and easier to install than the Lunderg confidence clamp. It is still large and can become uncomfortable with extended use. Leakage control is about the same as a new Cunningham clamp, but is more durable than a Cunningham clamp. Since writing above review, I am still using the clamp with the ultra wide lower pad 2 months later. I do experience a very small leak with careful installation, about the same as a new Cunningham clamp. Careful installation involves being sure the bottom of the penis is centered on the lower pad and the upper vein of the penis is squarely centered and aligned with the V-groove of the upper pad. A proper installation causes the clamp to lie comfortably across the crotch with the penis untwisted and relaxed. Long term discomfort can be avoided by applying baby powder to the clamp pads each morning when initially installed. This surface coats the rubber or silicon pads so they don’t stick to the skin of the penis. I am sure to drink at least 8 ounces of water a day, many times 1.5 times that amount, to encourage frequent urination and frequent removal and reinstallation of the clamp. I expect the clamp to outlast the normal life of a Cunningham clamp because of the durability of the pads. The clamp itself also seems to be made of break resistant plastic. Had to stop using due to unbearable discomfort after just a couple of hours relative to Cunningham clamp. Also not easy to install leakage free every time.

Best clamp on the market
The new Freedom Clamp by Lunderg is a nice improvement over the original and I am 100% satisfied. Other people who have given reviews go into detail about the hinged side of the clamp and have described it in better detail than I could. One plus that has not been mentioned is with the hinged clamp a person will be able to use the various size pads. Putting the hinge in the top position the large pad can be use while in the lower position the small pad will work just fine. This will allow you to use all the pads and save money when it comes time to buy a new pad. The original Freedom Clamp had openings on the top that made it easier to distinguish top from bottom. The new clamp has a single indented mark on the top and couple of times I have installed the clamp upside down and had to remove it and reinstall. That problem was quickly solved by using a black marker and coloring the indented mark. Now with just a quick glance top can be distinguished from bottom. Some people may think the price is high, but considering the money you will save on pads the clamp will pay for itself in a few months.

Painfully Uncomfortable
This is the most uncomfortable clamp ever. I tried all pad combinations hoping for a different result. It remains to be so painfully uncomfortable that I need to remove the clip earlier than I'm suppose to.

Good quality
Bought this recently as a precautionary purchase. I have not had cause to use it yet, but it appears well made and straightforward. Hoping I will not need it, but reassuring to have.

Not really comfortable, silent in clasping, or easy to use.
Not the best.

Don't be fooled by smooth marketing blurb
This is an expensive, difficult to use dribble stopper. It is impossible to undo and re-do with just one hand. In my view all these devices should be for easy one handed operation. Previously I had used Dribble Stop and only decided to change after some five years use because the foam pad was getting slightly hard. I have now reverted to Dribble Stop as you can use either hand and of course it does the job perfectly, and for around the same price. I used to think it was expensive- but after many years use, I realise it is quite good value.

The flexibility of adjustment and quality of the system
I have now tried three clamps this far at 6 months post radical prostatectomy. This one has so far performed best. The multiple options for fit and tightness are the best performance. I have troed the sister clamp but found it uncomfortable and lacking in adjustment and same for the competitors clamp. The medical quality rubber on these also did not stand up as well as this one. Make no mistake, it’s trial and error and patience is definitely required. Also, as you regain continence, further adjustment is required as you need less pressure to avoid leaking etc. I am at month 6 and am told don’t expect too much because 7-8 months is the notional sweet spot for recovery. I do know the Freedom Clamp is the best so far and is holding up well so qualified is definitely good. Update July 25,2024- I encountered a small issue with one of the 2 clamps purchased. I contacted the company customer service department. Without hesitation they agreed to replace the defective clamp at no charge to me. This speaks volumes about the care and consideration they apply when dealing with their customers. This is definitely a 5 star company for sales and service. Thank you Agna for your help and support.

Es muy práctico
Se puede lavar con facilidad, es de tamaño adaptable, y que no se abre con el movimiento diario, muy bueno para la incontinencia masculina pues no permie el paso de liquido
