Great fun for my 10 year old!
This kit has a theme of saving water and mmy lad loved it for the humorous way it let him feel he had an everlasting water supply. It is as easy to set up as a fish tank filter!

Really good buy
It was fantastic. Needed an adult to help assemble. Only quibble is chain didn't stay up. Magnet wasn't strong enough. Otherwise it was great.

Bought for 7 year old
When I saw this it reminded me of a large floating tap that we saw when on holiday which our kids loved. I bought it for my daughters 7th birthday and she loved putting it together with her father and proudly showed me how it worked. It also lead to us having a chat about why it’s important to be less wasteful with water.

Display piece for table at STEM for kids...Loud and a little underwhelming
Good message, purchased for display table at a STEM night for students. Pump is LOUD. As others have said, the chain does not stay vertical as magnet in the faucet is not strong enough (would be better if the chain were longer so the air gap to the magnet was less). I'd say the quality is pretty good (minus the pump noise). I do not think this is a good STEM set as it is too quick to assemble and no "play" or "wow" factor to it. Recommend manufacturer look at pumps in tabletop hydroponic kits as they are far quieter (but then again, likely more costly).
