Listen—I almost never write reviews anymore but I need you all to know how much you will love this product. As someone with chronic pain and illness I cannot live without the everyday use of a heating pad, so when my last one prematurely kicked the bucket a few days ago and the loaner someone offered me was not it I knew I had to find another option asap. If you’re like me, you know how important heating pads are and that we want the best function for price point. I was on the fence based on a few other reviews, but let me tell you why I think you should just buy this despite the slightly higher price. Auto shut-off: You need it for safety reasons. I can’t get to sleep without pain relief, if I don’t shut an older heating pad off manually before I drift off the result is painful and has even left me with “toasted skin syndrome” in the past. This will always shut off on its own, and even self-regulates if it starts to get too hot. If you see reviews mentioning the heat going in and out, that’s probably why. It will dial back up when it’s safe to do so. Fit: The larger size covers my whole back or abdomen. I’m not petite by any means these days, but also not super big. Consider getting an even bigger size if you’re worried, but this will just be extra warm and cozy if you’re on the smaller side. Softness: Unparalleled. Other brands are scratchy on bare skin which is a no-go if you’ve also got sensory issues like me. Warranty: With every day heavy use, we spoonies know the shelf life of a heating pads is limited. Well you’re in luck, because this baby comes with a 5-year warranty in the box. The remote: Basically silent somehow??? How did I ever live with the loud clicks in other brands before? Also, minimal light means it’s easy to wind down in the evenings. Like other reviews have said, the number of lights corresponds with the higher levels of heat. Durability: As far as I can tell this will last through the washing machine when needed like the listing and instructions promise. I will post an update if that changes. It’s definitely well-made, and for all my money this is a good value. Do it. Get the heating pad. Your pain will thank you.

I was so excited to have my first larger heating pad, and the pad itself is nice and soft. It would be great…. except it doesn’t work. At all. The controller doesn’t work no matter what outlet it’s plugged into. Sometimes it will flash on, or it will turn on for a few minutes, only for the controller to die again. I had heard good things about this brand, which is why I went for it, but I regret it now. I wish I had looked more closely at recent reviews since this seems to be a newer trend. What a shame.

They're great heating pads, but they seem the only last about a year

The Pure luxury heating pad was soft to the touch, heated quickly, and it was the nicest heating pad I ever had. I would have highly recommended it until it broke a year after purchase. It has a 5 year warranty so I contacted them. I spoke with with customer service and was told that they would replace the pad, no need to return broken one, and that they will send me email to which I respond with Amazon order #, and my name and address. Two weeks went by and there is no email from them. I called the contact # listed on product manual several times on one day and several times the next day and they are sorry, they are busy, call again later. Then I received a text supposedly from Pure, but when I called # given in text, it was from Canada and I would have to pay for the call to go through. So it appears they are not going to honor the warranty. I’m upgrading mt review to 5 stars. I finally received the email from Pure to which I responded with Amazon order #, my name and address, and photo of the controller that was not working. Within days I received a brand new replacement heating pad, and no need to return broken one. So you can’t get better service than that. Thank you Pure.

We’ve all used ugly heating pads with felt pouches and clunky power settings. This is the opposite of that. Honestly, it’s huge and covers so much! I recently pulled a muscle in my shoulder and have been using this to relieve some of the pain and it just works too good. I got it on prime days just to have around the house incase of cramping or back pain and I am so glad I got it! It stays warm for soooooo long and does not get too hot that it burns. I have used it on my skin and not got burned. The power settings are so easy to use, and you can control the temperature instead of just on and off. The light flashes when it has automatically shut off to protect both you and the mat. The outer sleeve is so durable and pretty. I got the white version and I love how seamless it looks with my decor when I have it out. Would definitely buy again because of the price and ease of use! I got my sister one too!

I’ve always used the other one that’s almost the exact same. Only I like how this one is way softer and better colors. However, I do not like the controller. A lot of people may like it but it doesn’t work for me and my spine stuff. I like to always leave my heating pad on l, especially through the night, and this one doesn’t have the auto shut off button. So it’s very inconvenient for me. I’ll definitely go back to the other one

Works for about a week then it won’t turn on. When you attempt to turn on the light just flashes once and won’t turn on. This is my second return within the last two weeks. Don’t bother with this piece of junk. I’m officially giving up on this brand and jumping to a proper product. Such a shame! As someone who depends on heat for nerve damage this is extremely disheartening. Please do better. You’ve lost a customer forever to thermotech. It’s a bit pricier, but hopefully it provides peace of mind that the product won’t break on you within a week!

Love the material. Love the color. But does it work? Yes. It’s lasted me a year. But this is more of a … I need a heating pad on the couch or or while I’m awake targeting an area in bed. Sleeping with it SUCKS. the controller is slightly too short that it needs to stay on the bed with you. I hate it because it falls every time in the night and hits the side of my bed waking me up. I wish it was just long enough or toward the middle of the cord so it can rest on the floor. Writing this review and ordering a different one to sleep with. Because menstrual cramps need a real mvp
